i cant give you 100% guaranteed answer, but 99% the game will support it as all Ubisoft titles support xbox controller and many PC gamers play with controllers.

ill PM Mr_Shade (Forum Manager) to have a look at this thread and get you a definitive answer.

If your going to get a xbox controller get the xbox one controller as that has pc support built into windows. just make sure its a wired controller.

99.99999% of console ports support the 360 controller. It's obvious Watch Dogs does.

Wrong. No official drivers for the XBO controller yet.

Unofficial drivers do the trick (LucasAssis) but the Xbox One controller is not natively compatible on PC yet.
Official support coming in 2014.

.

Correction - 99% of Ubisofts PC titles support the official Xbox 360 (for windows or console) controller.

Wired has the best support - due to drivers and you can simply plug it in.

Let's try and drop the hate for the game before it's even released please..

That is true for every other publishers as well.
Games not supporting the 360 controller is the exception, not the norm and that's good, more options the better.

I'm glad you agree with me..

Now let's stop the assumptions about the development about the PC versions please ;)

Fair enough, but I will enjoy being proven right. ;)

Hello all,
The wired xbox 360 controller(Microsoft brand) is supported with Watch Dogs. Please check the system requirements for more other supported devices : https://support.ubi.com/en-US/FAQ.aspx?platformid=9&brandid=1979&productid=2841&faqid=kA030000000eeD6CAI . Make sure all drivers are up to date! :)

Probably should work out of the gate.
I know with FC3 and SCB, you have to switch between KB and controller. You can't use both. I hope to god they removed that/did not implement because going from stealth to shooting and vice versa, having to keep switching options via the menus blows.

That's what you claimed :

xbox one controller as that has pc support built into windows
It's false. I have no idea why you are now talking about the 360 controller which everyone knows has official driver support for PC.
The Xbox One controller does not, for the moment.

2014 according to Microsoft. I'm waiting...

he is right, there is no official support from microsoft for xbox one controller yet, reasons because they want to make unified drivers for xbox 360 and xbox one controllers and dont want to break games that support xbox 360, anyway, the only official word on this is its coming 2014.

I was at Best Buy a couple of days ago and glanced at an Xbox One controller there--isn't it exactly the same as a 360 controller, just with slightly different aesthetics? Are there any new buttons? It didn't look like it.

Same buttons but superior aesthetics and materials in my opinion. Definitely a step up from the original 360 controller.

Can't wait for MS to release official drivers.

Glad to see you admitting it. :)
I take no joy in correcting you, it's just that misleading information can be damaging.

The Xbox One controller will be backward compatible with any game supporting the 360 controller.

Your significant other was possibly using Lucas Assis's unofficial driver.
My Xbox One controller does not work in any game, because the software isn't there yet.

As I said, yes.

For what it's worth. I use a Thrustmaster GPX (http://www.amazon.com/Thrustmaster-Controller-Official-Xbox-360-6306200/dp/B009DALSSG/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1400697418&sr=8-1&keywords=thrustmaster+gpx+controller). I find it very comfortable and works on every game I've tried. It's plug n' play like the xbox 360 controller.

Will it support Wireless PS4 Controllers in Windows 8.1, they connect nearly effortlessly through Blue tooth but not all games seem to support them, even when it says controller support.

Thanks!
