View Full Version : I bought the Deluxe Edition off Steam - how do I redeem the Season Pass? [SOLVED]

When I first booted up the game, I was prompted to enter a CD key found by right-clicking on the game's listing in my Steam Library, which I did and everything worked fine. However, the Season Pass wasn't activated with the CD key for the Deluxe edition (as is evident by the lack of the Hazmat Costume in the garage) and I can't find a second code to redeem anywhere.

How do I redeem the Season Pass?

got same problem, in the steam forums people say usually for ubisoft game season passes you get a key provided when the first dlc comes out.
but i want my preorder-bonus :/.

On the Steam page, you should be able to go to the DLC tab and it will show which DLC packages you have. Normally, you can access the key from there and paste it into the Ubisoft client.

I was able to redeem my season pass, but not my key from Steam. When launching, however, it should pop up the keys, I had to manually write them down and re-enter them, then relaunch the game.

Hm, try opening the Steam ingame client with shift+tab and see if the box with the key pops up? That is where it was for me.

nope, no key there. just "Trials Fusion - Preorder - Deluxe Edition"

I tried using that key but just got an invalid or already used key error message (perhaps because you have to use the key when you install the game).

Steam is blaming UBISoft, saying the key they were giving is all they were giving. No word from UBIsoft nor the trials developers. "We are looking into it" that isn't good enough.

I bought the deluxe version of the game, pre ordering it on steam and haven't received the season pass, i have tried contacting both parties and haven't gotten an answer. But people who bought the normal game THEN the season pass are fine.

So here is what i propose, either give everyone who bought the deluxe version the season pass already, it's not hard to activate that on uPlay, or give us a refund of $19,99 usd, so we can purchase the season pass again if it's so hard to just activate the season pass on something we purchased.

Same problem here, i have the deluxe edition, but only one CD key, once i activated it, i got the base game, when i go to the season pass tab ingame, it tells me i do NOT own the season pass.

I don't understand how this is difficult. All the people who bought the Deluxe version of the game, who have not been credited the season pass, just add it to their Uplay account, problem solved. Move on.

just checked and same issue here, i think its safe to assume that everyone who as bought the deluxe edition through steam has this issue.

also going to point out that steam says i have DLC. when i right click and go to view downloadable content it says i have the deluxe addition of the game.

I activated the game directly on Uplay and I have the same problem, so it's not only Steam, it's the Deluxe thing that is messed up.
Ubisoft fix that as soon as possible or this is the last time we buy one of your product!

Guys calm down, the people at redlynx have already said that they will fix this problem for us, which I'm sure they will. This is just another one of those problems that happen

Just commenting to say it's an issue for me too.

Steam tells me I have;

Trials Fusion - Preorder - Deluxe Edition.

No Season pass though.

Any update? UBISoft help and Steam Support are refusing to answer. This is becoming more then annoying and moving into being ripped off category.

Just posting in here so I can find the thread easier. I'm on board with the same issues as everyone else. I pre-ordered the deluxe, and it seems that i'm just missing the hazmat suit. i'm not worried about the season pass, i'm sure that'll be figured out by the time the first dlc drops.

I bought the game boxed, box says that its the Deluxe Edition (Season Pass included) but there wasnt a key for deluxe content at all.... Box was totally sealed....

It doesnt appear in my game at all, so i assume its locked. It seems my boxed copy didnt come with a season pass code at all in its seal. So basicly its just the base game. Here's a pic of the box (which clearly says Deluxe Edition). Inside is only disc and "Trials Fusion Online Keycode"

so this still hasn't been fixed ? so all my leaderboard entries will be without that cool hazmat suit because it was too hard to get the deluxe dlc-flag by steam to be recognized on uplay/the game?

and i thought having the game stutter on an i7 4770k and a nvidia 780 ti while it runs flawlessly on a xbox360 was bad coding.

at least fromsoftware learned their lesson :) back to flawlessly running DS2 :)

to get it going smoothly... turn windowed mode to on!it fixed my problems on HD7970, runs full 60fps all times! it looks **** with the bar on top but if they cannot fix it, this is a walkaround!

Bad coding is to make mouse cursor not disappearing when not used, have to move it off the screen all the time!

i'm not receiving anything, i bought deluxe version steam, but i dont have hazmat, after your post ^^

je n'ai rien reçus a propos du season pass, alors que j'ai acheté la version deluxe, malgré le fait que le problème soit règlé avec steam .

Has not been solved for me either, i dont have a second CD key on steam and i dont have the season pass checked ingame on the season pass tab.
Ive tried restarting steam, verifying cache and looking on my email in case ubisoft emailed the key.

Still no Season Pass Key from Steam, only says "Trials Fusion - Preorder - Deluxe Edition" in the DLC tab for Trials Fusion.

Should be a second line with the Season Pass, but it's not there.

Tried Re-starting Steam, tried verifying integrity of game cache, still nothing.

Also, Hazmat suit is not in game (I pre-ordered the game from team), and Season Pass In game only asks if I want to Buy it, I think the
box is supposed to have a check in it to indicate I have it, but it does not.

This is getting ridiculous. UBISoft is the worst at customer support. This shouldn't be hard to fix. This is my last UBI Soft product that i will purchase. Everytime time someone goes wrong and i am sick of the lack of statments from UBISofts. I won't be purchasing any more of their products.

Ive noticed that even though i dont have the season pass or hazmat suit, i do have the "light up the skies" bodykit, i unlocked it 2 or 3 days ago, so its not something that popped up after whatever you guys at redlynx did today.

So UBISoft finally replied

Hi Scott-NBNP,

Could you please do the following:-

- Open Steam and switch to the Library section,
- Right click the game in the list and select the option for View CD Key.
- Press the Print Screen key.
- Go to the Start Button > Programs > Accessories > Paint.
- Select Edit | Paste from the menu in Paint.
- Now choose File | Save from the menu.
- Go to your Desktop.
- Type a meaningful name under File name:.
- Make sure JPEG is selected under Save as type:.
- Click Save.
- Close Paint.
- Open your e-mail program.
- Upload the newly created picture from the Desktop to the support site, using the link in this e-mail

As you can see, this is just going to be a he said she said ********. They have a week, and after that im demanding a refund. This is unsatisfactory customer service.

Update from their customer support.

The code that you have purchase from steam does not come with the season pass.

This is a Deluxe edition of the game.

However because you purchase the game from steam and its missing the code you need to contact them as soon as possible and ask them to provide you with the missing code or a refund.

Ofcourse they are ****ing telling us to contact steam, and steam are replying once to contact UBIsoft, and then not replying to their support -_- this is ****ed. This customer service is horrible. EA screwed me over on dlc for mass effect, said sorry and sent me a code for all 3 mass effects on pc. These guys can't apologize and just shift the blame, this is getting ridiculous.

it should show up at start, if not right click in steam libary the game there should be a option for showing product key.
