The Evo is a good stick and I got it when I had nothing but trouble with the drivers for the Logitech. I could not find a way around theproblem and, as far as I know, Logitech has not posted a proper solution, or even addressed the issue.

~S~ I did the same tried different drivers for the 3D pro but it wouldnt keep its calibration in pitch and was tweachy in the roll, i got the evo and what a difference its accurate and keeps its calibration and has the twist rudder like the logitech so you get used to it quickly, i think youll like the change.

Whatever you do, do not buy a Logitech stick. Heck, if your mom gets you one for christmass, politely refuse to take it http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

The Saitek will probably last longer.
