View Full Version : Question on display of opponent level in multiplayer

So I'm hoping maybe someone else has encountered this, and can shed some light. I've noticed than often when I'm playing multiplayer on the xbox 360, the level that displays in my opponents information box after they've killed me shows me a different level than what they're listed at in the player list. So, say someone stabs me in a Wanted round, as I'm dying I see the little box that tells me their gamertag, title, score, level, etc. Often I've seen them listed as a much higher level - sometimes Prestige 99, but when I look at the list of players, they're listed as, say, Prestige 5. Am I just encountering a bug, or is there some strange calculation mechanic going on?

it's just a visual bug Ubisoft is too lazy to fix.

Now I am more confused in how did he get those 2k points, it's the reason I took this screenshot.

Yeah, that is some weird math going on there.

The game was laggy, I think he had a score by 2 (X2) but it wasn't displayed
(350x2)+300 = 1000
1000x2 = 2000

@OP, yeah, it's a common bug, the information on the scoreboard is correct.

And Kiro, I have one like that as well, lol, I think there's a scorex2 there that isn't displayed, yeah.

And the absolute best case of AC arithmetic was when I got a 75 point aerial kill; i.e. contested - because I wanted to run up a wall for an acro but was mashing kill just in case I didn't make it on time (unfortunately, I did not take a screenshot of that). It's like the game is telling me "yeah, I'm laggy, because F*** YOU thats why!!". XD
