Forced aspect ratio on my 16:10 monitor [SOLVED]

In any resolution, the game forces a 16:9 aspect ratio with black borders on the top and the bottom.
Also, for some reason, the resolutions aren't saying the truth. The 1280x1024 setting is a 1440x900. I'm not sure why this happens.

yeah, i'm getting the same issue, i originally thought those bars were supposed to be there, but looking at other gameplay videos (including someone's footage of the beta) it seems they aren't.

That's weird. No problem gaming at a "real" 1920x1200 here (GeForce 780Ti, Dell U2412M). I've noticed the black bars in windowed mode, not fullscreen though.

Guys, what's your monitor model ? GPU ?

I have a ZOTAC GTX 680 on the latest firmware 335.23, on Windows 7 HP x64 SP1. What monitor I use shouldn't matter, but it is a Samsung SyncMaster 2443.

I run a multi monitor setup, but it keeps on being like this even when running only my 16:10 monitor. I've also tried to change between windowed and fullscreen, but it doesn't change anything. Everything is still in a 16:9 aspect ratio.

Doesn't matter what u select; there's only 16:9. Got a 5:4 monitor myself and 1/3rd of my screen is filled with 2 black bars.
