Thanks for the link, but don't you just hate it when pilots flying vintage aircraft wear modern flight helmets. IMHO it just ruins an otherwise awesome picture.

I'm all for safety, so NOMEX flight suits and other safety equipment that cannot be easily detected get my vote, but the helmet has got to be accurate.

Seen a Rata at Oshkosh last year a seen it fly to it looks like a fun likke plane

I was holidaying in New Zealand recently (from Aust). They have 3I-16's, 2 I-153's and one LAGG-9.
Was fortunate enough to speak with the head mechanic and got a guided up close tour of the lot.
If you vists NZ there is also a magnificent RNZAF musuem at Christchurch that is predominately WWII air craft
