Come on Redlynx I love your racing games but I would really like to see you step into
some new territory. I mean you are developing a lot of games for different platforms
but basically it is always the same game or a very similar game idea.
I personally think that the wii is the worst choice to launch a game, although I got one
the live futures are soo bad and i cannot chat with my friends on it. I want to chat with
people while breaking their high scores. So it is the first game of Redlynx that is a no Go
for me.

I would really appreciate if there would be some new stuff from redlynx although I have
to admit that I am a very big trials fan.

Isn't that like saying "Hey Ron (Jeremy), I like all of your straight flicks, but how about some gay porn every now and then?"

I'm not gonna go to a steak house and order the spaghetti either!

If Redlynx has a gift for creating physics-based racers then I say more power to 'em!

As far as the console choice... gives me a reason not to sell that piece of junk that has been collecting dust since the day I bought Trials HD in Aug '09. Now the Wii might have SOMETHING for me other than just bowling. I just don't enjoy the whole waving the remote around like a goofball. Please make it compatible with the regular controller that looks like the super nintendo controllers!

No, its like saying hey ron (whoever this guy is) I like your missionary posission but after a time it gets boring what about some doggy stile here and then.

Bungie makes shooters, Ensemble makes strategy games (or used to), and Redlynx makes racing games. Its what they do best in my opinion. http://forum.redlynx.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif

We have made some strategy games as well. Most notably Pathway to Glory and High Seize (for Nokia N-Gage) and Warhammer 40K: Squad Command (for Nintendo DS and Sony PSP).

Add Reset Generation to list also. Turn based, realtime.. Strategy action http://forum.redlynx.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif

Biggest mobile games with Pathway ever created. Both have really good ratings.

Answering both questions at the same time.

We have multiple teams creating multiple games simultaneously. In the past you have seen us release many iPhone games (Monster Trucks Nitro & Draw Race) and PC games (Monster Trucks Nitro) while the Trials team has made Trials 2 SE, Trials HD and Trials DLCs. Xbox Live Arcade has been a huge success for us, so you can expect us to support it in the future as well. If you have a Wii and you liked Trials games or Monster Trucks Nitro, give Motoheroz a try. It's a really fun game! The multiplayer game mode is a blast!

Hi j -

We haven't released any gameplay footage or trailers yet, so there's nothing on YouTube. But stay tuned!

Anything from Redlynx is worth checking out and I look forward to more in depth reviews and youtubes of the game.

I think the Developerss have already covered the fact that they are far more than a 1 trick pony and building on success is what every smart developer would do.

So amazing is Trialshd that part of me wishes that all the Developers ever do is work on a sequel but that's just not practical or a viable smart strategy for a growing team of artists, programmers and other personnel like Redlynx has.

That they would continue diversify to other platforms is obvious given their history and that they produce a game that takes some of the best qualities of their other games is another no-brainer.

I'm surprised they haven't tried to reproduce a simple Trials game on a mobile platform like the i-Phone myself but there are no doubt fiendish technical reasons as to why that may not be straightforward.

I've also posted elsewhere that I think a platform/puzzle game using some of the mechanics, graphics and user creating levels of TrialsHD would be a natural fit for the RedLynx developers but they are the ones who have produced a million selling XBOX Live game so I think we should cut them some slack and accept that they know what they are doing and just hope they continue to produce more superb games for us.

And yes, I cannot wait for any kind of TrialsHD sequel http://forum.redlynx.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif but I'm also pretty sure Redlynx are well aware of the level of enthusiasm TrialsHD produces.
