Formerly known as Wall Hugger, this tracks got totally transformed without changing the main track much http://forum.redlynx.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_razz.gif

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Qc- The Complex (racing & exploration, extreme)

Full Synopsis:

This ride is in one of the most dangerous places on earth. Why? Because it is way high and a narrow and very difficult and long path?

Not really... It's because it is on the side of the wall of a secret military complex rumoured to hold the biggest secret ever. The mining activity is a mere decoy Discovery of this secret would mean exposing the biggest lie that has been maintained for almost a century and is commonly accepted as the truth. Find the secret society's temple and you will expose that secret, but be careful, my sources tell me that there is a hidden military weapons bunker and you probably wouldn't be welcome there, also while searching for the truth, you'll likely face many deadly pits and there is a rumour that the military has captured a dangerous alien being and it would be hidden somewhere in this complex, fitting with numerous reports of UFO sightings in the surroundings, so explorators and conspiracy theorists beware and be warned.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Features:

Really long and technical track, objects limit maxed out and checkpoints limit maxed out (30: 28 + start +finish)
19 of those 28 checkpoints are in the main track and 9 are in hidden areas.

If you stick to the main track, you'll miss out on 75% of the track so explore it and try to get into every nook and cranny, there are MANY other sick obstacles, puzzles, easter eggs, death traps and 6 alternate endings outsde of the main map!

The 7 different endings are:

The normal ending, "trapped inside" is rated C

There is another C rated ending called "Killed by the Boss!"

There are 3 A rated endings: "On Top of the World", "Exitng" and "Killed the Boss!"

There are 2 death trap finishes, "Bad Breath" amd "Blockage" both rated F

FAQ goes here.

General tips:

Bailing out helps see stuff that you wouldn't see otherwise, things I don't want you to see...

Everything is where it is for a purpose, but that purpose may also be to kill you, who knows? Seriously, there are some hints but you'll have to think in many places in the hidden areas or to get there http://forum.redlynx.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif

If it seems like a dead end, it probably is, or is it?

which planks? those long ascending planks section in a secret area beyond the temple? if you are speaking of those, they aren't that hard but the checkpoint is a little far... If not you'll have to be a tad more specific...

Im going to try very soon. I know youre a maniac a the editor and this one sounds better than ever. How on earth do you find all the time to do these levels? 40 hours just on this but you have something new consistently. I tip my hat to you. http://forum.redlynx.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_lol.gif

Well, I have a 40 hrs a week job and I work the evening shift so I come back at midnight, I usually go to sleep around 7-8 AM when I am working on a track. ( I got to sleep when my bain goes numb and I can't think straight) I wake up around noon to give it an hour or two before I take a shower, eat and go to work for 4 PM so... since Trials HD is out I might as well live in a cave because I have no life!!! I really feel and look tired now, and I start the day shift for two weeks monday http://forum.redlynx.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_e_sad.gif

Your tracks are rock hard, I struggled to get going on them, need to spend a bit more time on this game again, Tiger woods has kept me away since I finsihed my track (needed the rest for my own sanity).

& Chopper is a cool film.

I know my tracks are very hard, but for me, a medium track is barely enjoyable so I don't see myself doing tracks easier than Hard. For the record, making this track was hell for me: it started as a simple track because I wanted to take a break from heavy loaded and very short tracks, and I didn't want it to take more than 8-10 hours to make, but then I wanted to max out the objects limit and I kept having new ideas and my main concept was so simple and I had so many objects left that I decided to go WAY bigger with my project, then came the technical problems but that was all worth it, I think I set the limits back and showed how much can be done with the editor, I didn't think I could get this much out of it at first http://forum.redlynx.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif

Just spent the last hour "exploring" your new course "The Complex". Firstly, I'd just like to say that it's now my new favourite course of yours, replacing "Sunrise Climb". And that's taking it via the main route to the finish which is what I did first off. Love the way it plays and the innovative wall climb style of it all. There's a bit of lag in explosive areas but it doesn't affect the gameplay. First go was 06:36mins and 62 faults to finish. After that I started again and went exploring. You've given enough clues regarding what's to unearth so I'll simply say that there IS a lot more to this track than a simple A to B. Great stuff!

Whilst I'm here, I'll also mention that I have replayed "Sunrise Climb" and "Fogged Up Night". I still prefer "Sunrise Climb" out of the two but I like the additional stuff on "Fogged Up Night" (F.U.N.?) and the amended cameras are better. The only new obstacle I didn't much care for was the last one where you had to hop over those 2 upright wooden things. So frustrating as I couldn't really work out a successful formula for getting it right every (or most of the) time. Actually, I think you should move the Finish line away from the wall a bit too so you can ride through it rather than wheelie against the wall to just about clear it. I only say this because when I finally, finally got over that last bloody obstacle I forgot about the wheelie thing and got crushed by a bomb when I bounced back off the wall without clearing the finish line. Very cruel and I was very near to giving up rather than attempt that last obstacle again just to go through the finish line properly. But ... I did carry on and do it properly. Can't recall the exact time or faults but it was in the high 100's on faults, mostly at the end! : (

Anyway, very rewarding to do your courses, and I think they are definitely getting better and better with each one. Not necessarily in terms of being cleverer obstacles or more atmospheric backgrounds, just more playable and fun whilst still retaining the tremendous difficulty level.

As always, look forward to your next one!

Thanks a lot m'L0rd!

I agree with you that the wall at the end of F.U.N is like a slap in the face... On the last obstacle, the correct way is to lean forward then while going in reverse, lean way back so that the bike is already tilted back when you hit the gas, after that it shouldn't be too hard, this method should get you over it much more consistently.

I already have a new track in the works BTW, similar to The Complex's main path so I thnik you'll like it too http://forum.redlynx.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif

pfft, i've only been able to get two endings. The regular one, and the killed by the boss one. I've seen 3 other paths but have no idea how to get to them. http://forum.redlynx.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_e_sad.gif

I'll get it eventually though!

Fun map once you get the hang of it too, very technical

If you are really stuck, just ask me via PM and I'll give you some hints or tell it right away, depending on what you wish. Either if it is an obstacle you are stuck o or want to know how to find things.

Just one hint, once you find the "killed by the boss" ending. it's the one that you receive something on the head from a thing in the sky, ever wondered what there is past it?

New update, important bugfixes

New version of this track up called N00B Complex, if the previous one was too hard for you please try this one and leave feedback, I think this one is much easier, but still requires skill to do a good run. I am trying to please people with this one so your feedback is important and apreciated.
