Hello people. Been reading this forum for a little bit and it seemed a really decent place to post and discuss the game with decent folk. You peeps at RedLynx did a great job with this game, let me first get that out of the way. Now let me get to the most important part of this post... http://forum.redlynx.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_e_wink.gif http://forum.redlynx.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_twisted.gif I have platinum on Inferno II!!!. Just Going Up left to do now. Yes my heart was beating fast at the girder tap and yes I had a lot of re-tries but it was so worth it.
I am 4th on the board and I believe my time was 1:20:756 but I was playing safe....(Strange how even now I still feel the need to be defensive...What am I talking about? I have platinum on Inferno II...)
Wow this game is so great..Thanks for giving me something to really work toward in this game. The platinums were a great idea, and you don't see that kind of thing enough in games anymore. You can't beat a good secret, unexpected reward and challenge.
I am glad to have joined the club on Inferno... Some of you fellas are amazing...Like me!! (J/K) http://forum.redlynx.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_e_wink.gif

Thanks Bagel! Took some serious work bro but feels so great to have done it. Now I just need to figure out how to get my gamercard on here so it's a bit more tangible to viewers. At the moment there is no way for anyone who isn't a moderator to link my ID here back to my replay on the leader board.
Have done it though. There's no way I would make such a bold claim if I couldn't back it up.
Keep practicing at this game, you get better at it really quickly the more you play.

ANBA explains in this thread how to set the gamertag as your sig

Good job man. Did your thumbs hurt after? haha.

I think my best is like 6 faults in about 3:50.

My hand I could deal with. However, the adrenaline coursing through my veins during the pipe hop, Barrel stack and Girder Tap....That was more unpleasant.....

yeah the adrenaline thing is definitely what makes this game so hard, i meant to say well done in my last post btw http://forum.redlynx.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif

Awesome, I hope I can cut my faults to around 5, I doubt I can get 0.

lol, I take that back, just cleared with 0 faults. Shame I wasn't quick enough for Platinum but it did get me to 9th overall.

Done in 1:10 with 1 fault. Overshot the landing after the pipes...

Now I don't want to try and 0 fault because I'm sure I'll get a worse time >_<

0 faults with a worse time is worth more to your ranking score than 1 fault so it's definitely worth a shot

Unlucky http://forum.redlynx.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_e_sad.gif Keep trying though, you will eventually do it if you can get down to 1 fault, the level is on the ropes and it's only a matter of time.
It's horrible how if you roll off of that little ledge after the pipes, you are pretty much stuck. You don't come off your bike but you still have to fault. Feels such a shame to have to do.
It took me a while to 0 fault this level. I had the most trouble with the tyres. They really damaged my consistency and extended the whole process. If it wasn't for them I would have got to the later stages of the level a lot more often and would have done it a lot sooner.

yeah the tires are hit or miss for me to though my skill at the level is more miss than hit right now http://forum.redlynx.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_lol.gif

I need to practise shooting over the second tire rather than bouncing back from it to the third one. It can definately be cleared, but landing on the platforms below is damn tricky ;3

Yep, it can be cleared pretty easily http://forum.redlynx.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_asleep.gif noticed that already on testing). You just don't get the checkpoint below if you do that. Not that you need it if you aim for the #1 place.
