Could you please clear up what is meant by 100% exclusive?

"12 August
“Trials HD” by RedLynx/Microsoft
1200 Microsoft Points, 100 percent Xbox LIVE exclusive"

The reason I ask is all over the place in here, youtube other forums...people ask if its coming to pc, ps3 etc!

To my understanding it means xbla only. Full Stop. I took the quote above from this link.

It says on the other titles 12 month exclusive, 2 week exclusive and so on!

I feel its safe to think that trials HD wont be on anything else, and a new trials will be made later for pc or xbox or ps3!

On a personal note, I dont mind it not being on pc because it would cost an absolute fortune to run on a pc with enough hardware to run as its meant to run! I can only run trials 2SE on very low now!
I guess games are not suppose to be two tier regarding money. Thats why I like trials 2 SE... its adaptable for the masses!

I can't really comment on those exclusivity claims, as I am just a programmer.

Trials 2 SE only needs a very powerful graphics chip (to run with best visuals), all other hardware requirements are very low. Ultra cheap Atom CPU or even a 600 MHz Celeron is enough to run it fully, and half a gigabyte of memory is more than enough.

Trials HD uses system resources in a much more balanced way. You would need around half the graphics power for smooth 60 fps playing, but the CPU requirements would be much higher. I'd say all recent dual core CPUs (Core 2, Athlon X2, Phenom) should be capable to run it smoothly. Minimum memory requirement would likely be 1 gigabyte (around half a gig for the game + rest for Windows).

I'd say that was why when a game comes out on multiple platforms, most of the time you will find that it's cheaper on pc, as it costs a hell of a lot more to get your system running well enough to run the game on full specs, thats why i have an xbox too!!

And on a personal note from me, it's good to see all the people adding eachother as friends on xbox live!! i see you added me kurt!! bring on the tournaments!! http://forum.redlynx.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif http://forum.redlynx.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif

Reading all the comments made by the devs and a little between the lines... I don't think we are likely to see Trails HD on the PC. I do think Redlynx will make another Trails for the PC which will have many features found in Trails HD (and possibly more) but I would expect that to be 1-2 years (maybe more) away. Assuming Trails HD is a success, as I'm pretty sure it will be, Redlynx will be busy doing some DLC and then probably an Xbox sequel. I guess it's possible the sequel might appear on other formats too.

Oh for a crystal ball!

The current Trails HD in game videos look bloody awesome! I am currently dusting off the 360 (after 6 months of disuse!). Hopefully only 5 days to go for a UK release!!!!! http://forum.redlynx.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_asleep.gif hope!)
