Hello everyone!

Not that I want to be rude or inhibit your posting, but really, to much off topic posting I think.

Almost every post goes OT and people start talking about other stuff.

This makes it very hard to find the good discussions, since you can't be sure what is being discussed in a thread.

I mean I really like OT posting, but please do it in the OT part of the forum http://forum.redlynx.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif

Otherwise we will get a very ineffective forum, and we don't want that :/

Post on!

Update from moderator: Made this post sticky

Don't worry, I totally agree with you. I think its very easy for a thread to get sidetracked when each consecutive post takes it a little further away from the topic it was posted to talk about.

People shouldn't be scared to make new threads, just make sure they are in the right sections. I am a little confused as to what exactly the difference is between the Trials 2 forum general discussion, and the Trials 2 Player lounge general discussion! http://forum.redlynx.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_confused.gif

Oh well......Its fun chatting while we wait anyway eh?

Count me in too...
It was a bit strange going through all this... off-topic madness! I think we should stop it now, before we get hundreds of threads with every possible subject in the world and, worst, everyone talking about everything...
Oh, and sticky this thread, just in case http://forum.redlynx.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_lol.gif

It's not a problem if you derail once in a while, but if we continue doing it with every post we are up to some massive searching in the future http://forum.redlynx.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif

I'm already in a kind of massive searching already, the future just scares me http://forum.redlynx.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_eek.gif http://forum.redlynx.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_confused.gif

But i have faith in this community http://forum.redlynx.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_cool.gif Still no flamers and all these annoying little things (well, except the offtopic posting http://forum.redlynx.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_razz.gif) that lurk in almost every forum on the internet...

i think if we get any annoyng 12 year old only here to disrupt and annoy we should create a poll to ban - semi ban - leave then it is a fair system the public spaeks

Well, in my experience that isn't very effective. Let the moderators sort it, do NOT start flaming back or anything like that. It only means you might get banned as well.

Rating systems can lead to bad feelings, and it is too easy to exploit them.

Just ignore any people that use bad language or flame, and inform the moderators.

I repeat, Don't answer them, that is what they want you to do.

Yeah, flaming over flaming will do no good... just a great way to ruin a thread. Maybe a 'report thread' button is the best for situations like this http://forum.redlynx.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_wink.gif

i am mostly a lurker on this forum, but i have to agree this is a very respectable forum, hard to find good forums like this, especially video game related...
i can only name 1 other forum thats as respectable as this one, and its drumming related.....

i actually have only one problem i dont like in this forum, and its the swearing, i noticed in a few threads people can type any curse word they want.....although, when i signed up it asked me if i was born before or after a specific year, either way though, youngsters can still come here and read it, simply, i just dont think young kids should have to read these words, thats my only suggestion, but i am obviously no one important, just my 2 cents....

"Rule 25: Relation to the original topic decreases with every single post."
