Question regarding BS1 cards

Hi fellow players,

I understand that BS1 cards that will be unavailable in BS2 set, will only be usable on the Open format and not on Standard format.

For BS1 cards that will be changed however, when BS2 comes around, will they be morphed into their BS2 versions, or will they stay as BS1 cards that are only available for Open format?

For example, will a BS1 Pao DS morph into a BS2 Pao DS? Or will it stay as a BS1 Pao, and the player will need to get a BS2 Pao to play the card in Standard format?

You do not need to get other copies of cards you already own.
If the card you own now is part of BS2 you can use it in both Standard and Open format.
If it isn't part of BS2 then you can only use it in Open format :)

PS: Pao Deathseeker isn't part of BS2
