Ark

Though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death I fear nothing, for I am driving a Frogfoot.

Doing a high poly model like that is no big deal for me. It just takes a lot of time. The trick is getting it under 3500 poly's and still making it look good http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

Though I'm no modeler, I've heard similar things to what Gibbage states. Though certainly not 'easy' to model a high polygon model, it does require less artistry and more technical knowledege. Getting a 'low' polygon model to look like it really 'should' requires more of an artistic flair.

Well, so far in pc game design it has required a bit of artistic ability.

Very soon pc power will allow for models like this one. Then things will get very technical and time consuming.

In a few years time, all planes will be built this way http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

We are living in a golden age... expect your expansion packs circa 2010 to feature one new plane and a bomb...

The 36th rib on the port wing is *obviously* in the wrong place. *sigh* http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

That's an awesome model, he's got a whole bunch more on his site. It's so cold tho.. its like drafting not art http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_frown.gif
