How do you do it????

I aim on the target for few seconds, but when i press auto pilot before releasing, the damn thing starts to climb. This makes me line up again, but this time i release without using the auto pilot, and the bloody bomb still climbs and what not.

How do i get the thing to stay on target??

Many thanks http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

When I'm *near* the target I shut down both Mistel engines and aim the Fw190 nose on the target. Below 500m. Release bomb, and quickly back on the stick - nose up. I find that to be the easiest way (engines=OFF - you must be very careful to not shut down engine of your Focke Wulf). I drive the Mistel this way (although it is risky).

Few times when Mistel engines were ON in the moment of releasing it, I fell into spin and crash into my own bomb http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif.

You should not turn Mistel engines OFF too early, because you will have problems maintaining the altitude.

Or at least throttle down. You're diving too fast, I've had the same problem.

Fly all the way to the target without trimming the planes, because that will make the mistel climb or dive after release.
Aim the mistel in a dive, not too shallow, because then it won't explode on impact.
Throttle down to approx. 50% before relelasing the mistel.
Dont pull up too sharp after releasing it, or you will hit the mistel with your tail and become totally disintergrated...

I trim then shut the engines down in a dive then disconnect http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif The FW190 will climb very rapid of itself then, while the ju88 part continues in an (allmost - it will climb some at the end) straight line...

Question: Did you back-up your files?
Answer: I didn't know they had a reverse...

Diving to fast, i am guilty of that

I find though the mistel and 190 is trimmed tail heavy from the start. Adjusting the trim on a keyboard is very so hard, so when i get my X52 things might be easier http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Thanks for the help though http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

hm i do everything wrong then http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif

i trim plane but not much is needed anyways,
i use wep too and full speed (close rads too) and u can set 120% mix for the ju88 engines http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/59.gif

aim at target wid crosshair, keep it on there for a few seconds, then use bomb key
seems to work ok
