sorry, forgot to add this in my last post.

For those of us who like to fly in the cockpit with external views off, navigation is a bit difficult.in dogfight missions

The ADF in IL2 could be greatly enhanced if users could place an object on the map representing the ADF location.

or, you could have the ADF set a defualt location at the players home airbase.

Witht he current defualt location in the bottom left hand corner of the map, navigation is very difficult in the upper right portions of the map were the radials are farthest apart.

Give me an ADF and decent clock, and I'll be a happy dude and leave you all alone.

The German ac have good clocks with second hands. The He-111 clock is mounted just right for use as a bomb sight in ultra low level sorties, with the pilot dropping the load /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

Yes, it would be good to have some NDBs (beacons for the ADF to pick up) which could be paced on the map. The instrument is there in the game, but I'm never too sure what it's actually pointing at.
