Like wow, like... just like the ATI and nVidia sites. Long on advertising and short on hard numbers and comparisons with competitors products!

I have heard of that and I sure do hope it rocks. The specs seem extremely impressive. But I guess it will cost more than 1000$... Was it 12 or 16 pipelines?

It dose seem quit good, but will there be any support for it. I mean how well will it work with UBI ect. It may be fast but the software is just as important as the hardware.

It's 8 pipes or 16 pipes in for the dual chip version.

Here's some 3dmark 03 numbers running a 3.0Ghz p4/512ram (from Volari)
Volari Duo V8 ultra - 5500-5600 3D Marks
Volari Duo V5 Ultra - 4000+ 3D Marks
Volari V8 Series - 3000+ 3D Marks
Volari V5 Series - 2000+ 3D Marks
Volari V3 Series - 1000+ 3D Marks

From what I gathered, pricing will be competitive.

Let´s hope its 16x1 and not 8x2.

Seeing how nVidias 5900 Ultra just about get´s beaten in shader intensive games like Half Life 2 by the 9600 which is 4x1 versus 5900 ULTRA 4x2.

BTW, it's a next gen product by the number of pixel pipelines. ATI's Loki(R420) core is suppposed to have just as many.
