"So when Diogenes perceived that he was greatly excited and quite keyed up in mind with expectancy, he toyed with him and pulled him about in the hope that somehow he might be moved from his pride and thirst for glory and be able to sober up a little. For he noticed that at one time he was delighted, and at another grieved at the same thing, and that his soul was as unsettled as the weather at the solstices when both rain and sunshine come from the very same source."

Heard it is due to an IP change and that the DNS would have the new IP mapped soon. But that was over a week ago.

There's a workaround where u connect to an updated DNS but seems like too much work for lazy me.

Does anyone know of the DNS server to map to to get Mudmovers? It's really easy to do this if you have the ip address.

Just get MudMovers' new IP address, and use it directly in your browser! Should work okay if the site uses relative addressing within Mudmovers.

I'm afraid the originator of the site has gone MIA. I was originally recruited into KMH in CFS 1 by the owner of this site, Snoopy. We use to talk to each other on MSN Messenger almost everyday and I have not seen him since Nov or Dec of last year. Hunter does not know either.

We certainly hope all is ok with him and he will soon return, but no one has seen or heard from him since this time (As far as I know).

If your out there Jim, let your friends know your ok.

Now, I get no DNS resolution for www.mudmovers.com (http://www.mudmovers.com); i.e., there is no longer an IP address corresponding to that domain name. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-sad.gif

S! Jim, for all the time (and patience!) that you gave to the community. We miss you.

This sounds VERY alarming. Please keep us updated.

Has anyone tried the phone number recorded in the registration?

Probably not a 'done thing' to call it, although I once received a call from a US company for a .com domain I had registered.

Just a thought...

Not really sure. Jim has had no contact since the beginning of December 2003. E-mails have gone unanswered.

As Matt said earlier we were all in KMH together in CFS1, so we've had regular contact over many years. My concern is not the website, just if Jimmy is ok. It's not like him to go MIA for any period of time. I know he was moving into a new house and thought it may have been due to a ISP change and holidays but after a few weeks it became concerning. Hope all is well. I've tried looking up a phone number or even to get in contact with his sister(not sure of married name so I've run into a dead end) but no luck so far. I only have his old home mailing address.

So Jimmy if you've just got tired of the BS and happen to read this...at least contact any of us and let us know you're ok.

I don't know the guy personally, the web site I of course know.

But I find I too share the sentiments and hope he is Ok.

Often the old mailing address can be used Hunter, with a 'please forward'. The new occupants may have the forwarding address, it may be forwarded by the post office (common practice to have a 3 or 6 month Post Office forwarding service), or if the house was sold then the solicitors involved can and will forward.

He may be blissfully unaware, and enjoying new pastimes. let's hope that is the case.

Hi guys I've been unable to update and keep track of Mudmovers as I was taken seriously ill in December. I am now recovering and will endeavour to get Mudmovers up and running, fully updated in a few weeks.

At the moment financial constraints are preventing me from doing anything, however the site should still be up as the account and domain are not yet expired. I will be in contact with my host to see why the site was shut down.

Thanks all for showing an interest, bye for now.
