Slight update on the OS2-U Kingfisher. http://www.netwings.org/dcforum/DCForumID43/1131.html

The nose is a bit wrong yet, but I am just making progres on the texture. BTW: Anyone has access to manuals, interior pics or info? Thanks!

Take very careful note of the engine cowling.

Nice work Xanty. A small point but is there any chance that you could do a version with the Vought float rather than the Edo one you have gone with on your model? I don't know for sure but I think that the Vought float was more common on the early Kingfishers as seen in ElAurens photos.
To me the Edo float always looked like it was too small to keep the Kingfisher afloat!

Vough floats were only used on the prototipes really...

The ones on ElLaurens are EDO floats (no pointy-sharp nose)

I will change the nose again when I have time. I already made the change some time ago, but got deleted (apparently)

Thanks all!

A question:
On the model, the front part of the engine cowling where it bends down seems a bit different from how it looks on the pictures.

Mistake or intentional?

Edit: Me stupid http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/35.gif Didn't read through your first post...

I'm just adding my "pat on the back" for you. I'm not an expert on the Kingfisher, so you could make it look like an Me-262 and I won't know the difference, but I'm thankful all the same for your time and effort to model planes to make PF another great product. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif
