it seems to be a known problem that the main trigger on the ffb2 joystick fails after time.i have found the replacement switches to repair them.the switches are omron f3m's.i have ordered 30 of them.if you want a kit to repair your stick send me a pm for my addy and ill send you a swittch a peice of solder and a peice of desolder wicking for 3 dollars u.s..if you are not able to make the repair ill fix the switch for 5.00 u.s. if it is removable from the base(i havent looked yet).
if anyone feels im asking to much you can get the switches from digikey.the cost is .61 cents a switch with 6.00 flat shipping.

Kozhedub: In combat potential, the Yak-3, La-7 and La-9 fighters were indisputably superior to the Bf-109s and Fw-190s. But, as they say, no matter how good the violin may be, much depends on the violinist. I always felt respect for an enemy pilot whose plane I failed to down.

While we're at it, has anyone ever found any info/instructions for dismantling and servicing the ffb2? I've trawled google for hours and found nothing....(should really be working of course...)

I've had mine apart once already to clean some beer out of the four base buttons, but haven't tried attacking the handle yet....I'm hoping the hat switch lasts for a while...

thats the link to the switch.as for net instructions your out of luck.you have to do like i did and just take it apart.i had t use a high powered jewelers loop to get the part numbers after taking the switch off the board.
the us company i got them from is digi key they may have a uk branch.
good luck
