View Full Version : Is there a way to upgrade from the Standard Edition to the Gold Edition? (PC)

As part of a recent Nvidia promotion, I received the standard version of AC4 for free. I'd like to upgrade it to the gold edition, since it includes the season pass (which is essentially the same price as the difference between the two versions) and a bunch of other content. I have the game through UPlay (not Steam). Is this possible?

I've seen other top-ups to deluxe editions for games like ME3 and DeusEX:HR.

You can buy the season pass seperatly if you mean that , market price is 20 euro but you can get it cheaper her and there...

Until now I have bought AC II, AC: Brotherhood and AC III standard and Digital Deluxe Editions. AC II on uplay and AC II DDE on Steam and still can run it from uplay
After buying a DDE of a game and entering the code provided I had no issue between the compatibility: save games were recognized, progress, everything. Actually, it was the same game but with the exra features content. For exmple, firstly I bought AC III Freedom Edition and recently I bought AC III DDE which, except Season Pass and Benedict Arnold DLC, had the same extra content. No progress reset or anything else.
So, if you find the Gold Edition you may buy it without any problems.
