Having update issues with Uplay. Does anyone know if there are ports that I can forward to solve the connection issues? My connection is fine, but it gives me the error that it will connect as soon as it's able, and it downloads at like 30kbps... ugh. It also throws my router out of whack and I have to restart it.

Game Ports:
TCP: 80, 443 (HTTP and HTTPS) (Really, for the game? Ubi)
UDP: 3658, 3074 (These should be the client/server/p2p(?) connection ports)

Is there any tool for Port Forwarding ? I've been stumped this whole afternoon

The day one patch for AC4 just refuses to download, really disappointed in Uplay and Ubisoft but hopefully I can at least download with the help of some forum members.

Any members had any luck in being able to download ? I've tried setting the proxy forced to 192.168.0.1 but still nothing... Really pulling out my hair with this issue...

Any help would be much appreciated

Proxy is something else. If you are playing at home in the USA, you probably don't have a proxy.

The port forwarding discussed in this post should not have any impact on your patch download.

In my case, the tool I use is called putty. The commands I typed were:

nat (inside,outside) 2 source static PS3 interface service PS3-Ports
access-list outside_in permit tcp any host PS3 eq 80
access-list outside_in permit tcp any host PS3 eq 443
access-list outside_in permit udp any host PS3 eq 3658
access-list outside_in permit udp any host PS3 eq 3074

Chances are, that will not work for your particular router. If you have a typical home-based router, there should be a web interface -- in your chase, check (http:// or) https://192.168.0.1/ and look for advanced settings, port forwarding, or NAT/PAT (network/port address translation).

And, yeah, 80 and 443, really? Edit: According to Ubi, AC4 needs TCP 4646 and TCP/UDP 3658.

The link refers to:
