Personally I want TLOU to win game of the year and AC4 to win best action aventure game. Name who you want to win.

For this year’s version of their annual video game awards, Spike TV is trying something a little different. Rather than broadcast the show live on an actual cable channel, the awards show will be streamed through a bevy of online outlets, from GameTrailers.com to MTV2.com.In keeping with that change, Spike has rebranded their awards show as VGX 2013 (http://gamerant.com/tag/spike-video-game-awards/), and promised that the show won’t just be about awards and trailers, but will feature behind-the-scenes interviews with developers and some other early access content. The awards are still the main focal point, but the show is getting bigger and broader at the same time.No host has been announced, but we know VGX 2013 will broadcast live on December 7, 2013 at 6PM EST. The full list of available venues from which to view the 3-hour show are as follows: Xbox One, Xbox 360®, PlayStation®3 (PS3™), Twitch, iOS and Android devices, and available globally on VGXLIVE.com, Hulu, Yahoo Screen, the Yahoo Screen app and Viacom properties Spike.com, ComedyCentral.com MTV.com, MTV2.com, BET.com and GameTrailers.com. And for those that miss the live broadcast, Spike TV will air a “VGX Replay” featuring the show’s biggest highlights on December 9th at midnight. As far as the VGX 2013 nominees go, Spike just unveiled that list earlier today, and many of the most high profile, and critically praised, titles of the year are well represented. Games like BioShock Infinite, The Last of Us (http://gamerant.com/tag/the-last-of-us/), and Grand Theft Auto 5 (http://gamerant.com/tag/grand-theft-auto-5/) are leading the pack with several nominations in various categories, while much smaller games, like The Fullbright Company’s Gone Home, are also receiving some recognition.Check out the list of nominees below:

I hope GTA5 doesn't win...

Same with Infinite, it was actually the weakest of the series. I'd be alright with TLoU.

GTA V will win brah.

Haters are herbs

Voted for Tomb Raider although it has no chance of winning. No other game has really, except for GTA V and mayyybe TLoU :|

In my opinion, The Last of Us is the only game that deserves GOTY; it truly is a masterpiece with a lot of thought put into it compared to GTA V which is a simple minded pointless shooter/action/adventure game regardless if it is fun or not.

Its no doubt that GTA V will win, its gotten so much praise and recognition that its bound not to get at least 1 reward.

Why is Divekick on the list? >_>

Where's Metal Gear Rising? That was one of my favorites of this year and would win IMO if there was a "most fun to just play" category. And it was actually a challenging game, which you never see nowadays.

I'd proud to say I got every single achievement for that game, which I normally do for games I care about but it was actually something special in this case. Even though my achievements for the Jetstream DLC glitched because I got them before they were actually updated on the xbox site... so thanks microsoft.

...i know. Thats why I said "beyond me"...because its my opinion. :|
