View Full Version : This game should have an addiction disclaimer

Seriously...this is one of the most addicting games I've played in a long time.

I start out with a goal in mind (clear a location, story mission, etc), but before I know it I'm sidetracked by plundering ships, conquering a fort, hunting, harpooning, upgrading my ship, etc. I'm only at the beginning of sequence 5, and I've probably clocked at least 12-15 hours.

So, is anyone else getting totally distracted by all the awesome side activities ?

that is what I like about this game: Fun on every turn. I too as well go do a main mission and then I start doing the viewpoints, attack a ship or two and take down a Great white or an Orca...at Night....lol

I've played like 30 hours and yet I'm only at sequence 8, I love that it's now a true open-world game. It feels less...confined or...compact if you get me.

It is the best designed AC in my opinion. Apart from story and maybe stealth it's the best in every aspect.

I don't get to play games very much because of work and life, but for a few nights the past couple weeks I've caught myself at 3AM realizing I've been playing for hours. I've got 19 hours in I think and am only on sequence 5 or 6.

I also agree. This is the best open world game that I have played. I am 14 hours in and at around 25% done. I play for two hours each night and it is a blast. Great game.

Agreed! I'm 25% in and have played atleast 16+ hours till now.

Content wise, Best AC game for sure.

I haven't even got the diving bell yet...LOL. Curious to see what the underwater sections are like.

I got the diving bells just today... without saying too much...its pretty damn awesome.

I've clocked at least 50 hours and I'm in Seq 8. Diving Bell stuff is awesome. I actually get more distracted the more I progress. I'm going to have to buckle down and finish the story.

I've beaten the story, captured all forts, and completed all naval and assassin contracts already! And I still want more!

Yeah, the game is addictive, but I'm sad that, eventually, there won't be anything left to do or grind through boardings for. I think they should come out with dllc that offers compelling reasons to grind, like a new ship that costs oodles of reales to buy and upgrade.
