View Full Version : Preordered Gold edition on PS3 Direct download...what exactly did I pay for?

I read an article about if I wanted to skip deciding on where to pre order, I could just get the gold edition that came with ALL the preorder items. So that is what I did.

So far I have not seen a single preorder item. I got the kraken, the death ship, and altairs outfit for having another game, yet I have no other preorder items...am I missing something?

I am just going go post in my own thread and state my opinion on the whole UPLAY/DLC/DOWNLOAD/COMMUNITY CHALLENGES bs is a huge confusing mess and is not clearly stated. I have no clue what a community challenge is nor do I know what a community update is or whatever. ****s sake im playing a single player game, please stop trying to drag the rest of the world into my escape. I play single player games to escape, not deal with the world I just tried to avoid.

holy **** can no one help me?! I have the gold edition, im supposed to have all the preorder stuff, yet I have nothing. I do not get it.

I am on the fence with this as well. I want to purchase the EU version even though I live in the US as this version appears to have all of the DLC in special gold chests that you need to unlock depending on how far you are in the game. The US version seems to get screwed yet again (No Black Chest, No Buccaneer) and our Gold Edition only has the game and season pass. Hell, we don't even get the Adewele (sp) 3 hours of additional gameplay immediately after purchase with our season pass. Ubi needs to treat all regions the same or people will stop supporting their retailer exclusive DLC and just wait for the GOTY type game.

I got the adewele content and the other DLC content with the female pirate, but I did not get all the preorder bonus stuff, it seems this is a bug and not actually region mistakes, or if it is someone needs to give us a word about whats happening. IF I did not get all the content expressed and advertised I better get my money back instead.
