Hello Moderators

I am continuing to see posts like "Oleg, how about adjusting the soviet planes".

This post is a perfect example of one which should be immediately deleted.

It contains no reports of bugs, and no substantive data to prove the points which the poster is failing to make.

All these posts do is invite other equally inflamatory responses, which degenerate into extended screaming matches.

I also see other posts which are equally useless, including some which insult Oleg and subject him to abuse.

If people want to make these types of posts, they should do so in the General Discussion forum.

The moderators of this forum, (Oleg's Ready Room) should immediately delete all posts which do not contain detailed reports of bugs, or detailed fact based criticism of the Flight models.

Please do your job.

Thankyou RAF74 Buzzsaw

Agreed - it would be nice if people making 'bug' posts here could first float the issue in GD just to check whether or not they're talking complete bollocks too.

Firstly if you want to dictate to moderators about what their job is you should do it via PM not in ORR.

The thread you pointed a finger at, 'Oleg, how about adjusting the soviet planes', Oleg saw fit to answer, had it been locked or deleted he would not have had the opportunity.

I for one am not here to censor what people have to say, so long as the guidelines are followed. If that means a few whiney posts getting through then that is fine.

As for insulting posts if you read one then PM a mod who will then be able to act. I can't speak for all mods but I don't have time to read all the threads posted here so obviously will not catch all.

Hi Euro_Snoopy,

Respectfully - I know I'm not telling you anything you don't know here:

The flaming and whining got so bad in here that Oleg flat out left for months.

To me this suggests that perhaps there may be some issues to deal with regarding this forums moderation.

Would you agree?

I support this position - some of the posts on here over the past couple months have been just plain nasty - and wrecking things for the rest of us.

<S>Anybody who complains about the way moderators mod get banned.</S>

Agree. Most of the posts done in here seem to be whine-fests rather than constructive posts. If you got a complaint, write it with respect and dignity! /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

PMing a mod is quick, easy and practically guarantees your issue being heard. Simple solution.
