I think that GUI in overall is nice except for talking with NPCs part which is ugly and text is not comfortable to read because of small fonts (very bad thing in a RPG game - it kills your eyes). I hope you can do something about that. And here's how it could be done in a different way:

- Of course the height of text boxes should be automatically adjusted to the amount of text
- If there is to much text for full size box you should be able to scroll it like internet page or something
- you can use arrows to scroll NPCs up and down (but I do not know if there is a place in the game where are more NPCs than 3 in one place - so maybe arrows are redundant)
- when indoors arrows for party navigation should be blacked out

EDIT: when indoors map should be as it is only centered on tile location you are at but without the triangle (party mark) and with pulsing circle around tile location

Don't know if there is a merchant skill in the game but here you can choosse one of your characters to talk with a NPC so we can have the merchant skill exactly the same as it was in MM6-8

I do think there needs to be a UI scaling option to allow for larger text/fonts maybe even UI elements for those who need them. Some people have limited vision, while others want to be able to play on their TVs and sit back, away from the screen. We need the option of being able to scaling the UI and especially the text. Areas where the text is too small for me, is character dialogue, help text boxes, and some of text in the inventory and character stat screen.
