Hey guys,

on the next friday the third tournament out of 'The Crazy-Tournament-League' will be played.

All the informations about the monthly league you can find here: *klick* (http://forums.ubi.com/showthread.php/783022-The-Crazy-Tournament-League-hosted-by-Enclase)

Rules

This time we will play a new mode, called 'Modify the Deck'.

I have created a deck for you, but...its not really good i guess :( You can change up to 20 cards out of it, doesnt matter which ones (even the hero if you want to!) - but its not allowed to change more. You have to play with EXACTLY 59 cards and at least 39 cards have to be out of the posted deck.

Special-Rule: Epic-Cards are not allowed!

...and here is the deck: http://www.mmdoc.net/show_deck/8150/

- The tournament is starting @20:00 CEST!
- Double-Elimination-Tournament. Best of 1 for every match till the top 8 (upper bracket) - Best of 3 for every match till the final - Best of 5 for the final! (If you lose the first game, you will keep playing in the 'loser-bracket' with a chance to reach the final later on. Just google: 'Double Elimination' if you dont know this mode). Best of 1 for every match in the loser-bracket, only the last 2 games will be played bo3.
- The winner of every matchup has to make the screenshot and add the result of his match into the bracket on challonge.com! The screenshot is only needed if a problem is showing up!
- Max 128 Players
- Changing the deck is allowed from round to round - but not in a bo3/bo5 matchup!
-If you see that your opponent is playing with an illegal deck you have to report him, he will be disqualified (take a screenshot and tell me what exactly is wrong).
- The Top 3 have to post their deck on MMDoC.net after the tournament - so we can check with replays if everything was fine :)

We also have a new registration-system. Everyone who wanna participate has to register on challonge.com and join the tournament - that makes it possible, that you can add your results by your own...and i dont have to add 200 results on one evening :) That means, i can focus more on my own games, on other problems and i can cast more games - i think thats really good for everyone.

Creating a Challonge-Account takes not even 1 minute :)

Also, the SignUp for the tournaments is open earlier now. You can register right now for the tournament on friday - Please register on Challonge with your MMDoC-Nick!

http://challonge.com/quali3

Think on the fact that we will 'shuffle' all the matches before the tournament is starting - so dont add your opponents before the tournament is started ;-)

With the new system you dont have to post results in the twitch-chat, but you should still be in the chat (problems, finding opponents and so on).

Prices

This is a qualifier for the weekly and monthly finals - but still we have a pricepool. Every participant is automatically adding 5.000 gold to the daily jackpot...and if you read the informations in the maintopic you can see, that the weekly and monthly jackpots are also inreased with your participation

1st: 33% of the victory cash
2nd: 25%
3rd: 20%
4th: 10%
5th to 8th: 3% each

+

Place 25-32 = 1 point for the monthly ladder + for the weekly ladder
Place 17-24 = 2 points for the monthly ladder + for the weekly ladder
Place 13-16 = 3 points for the monthly ladder + for the weekly ladder
Place 9-12 = 4 points for the monthly ladder + for the weekly ladder
Place 7-8 = 5 points for the monthly ladder + for the weekly ladder
Place 5-6 = 6 points for the monthly ladder + for the weekly ladder
4th place = 7 points for the monthly ladder + for the weekly ladder
3rd place = 9 points for the monthly ladder + for the weekly ladder
2. Place = 12 points for the monthly ladder + for the weekly ladder
1. Place = 15 points for the monthly ladder + for the weekly ladder

(can change, depending on the number of participants)

That is so awesome. I have to think about if I should keep some of the pao hunters in it. They can be usefull with the honor ability ^^

Hmm, will be interesting, will be hard to track if opponents are following the deck rules or not, and it might be hard for some to make a Sanctuary deck. But tournament will be interesting!

The problem with this mode is that it's very hard to control if decks are legal. A solution would be submitting it before... but I know its not very practical....

Of Course its not completly controllable. But i think we will easily realize if someone is really playing something completly else :)

Oh man, I can't even field a deck for this. Most of my cards are from Basic and Herald.

I was fooling around with it a bit, if you remove all the sanctuary heroes, you've used up 18 out of your 20 modifications. It will require you to use a hero with water spells tho. And a bunch of crappy neutrals. I have a feeling Enclase did but some thought into designing this deck...

Sadly, of the 13 heroes that I have, zero of them can use water spells, so I can't even play the mighty Pao Hunter deck. Just bad luck there.

Good games! I think this was the most fun tournament so far due to the nature of all the crappy cards you had to prioritize out =)

Congratulations to all the winners :) Only 53 participants today, but that's still fine.

1. Mitch.sp
2. Sesouma
3. bustio
4.ascendo
6.deadmanbolo1
6. EaGI3
8. Misoal
8. darkproject0

For the next tournaments we will play with a swiss-tournament system, we have decided this on the stream to make the tournaments 'faster' - because 5 hours for every tournament is a real long time. With our Swiss-Tournament system every player will have to play 5 rounds (bo3 each) and we can organize everything better :)

Loved the format and hope to see it again!

PS: Enclase, 5 rounds of swiss bo3 will take longer than 5 hours. You need to wait on the slowest match to finish a round. I think if you go swiss it needs to be bo1
