I was playing on a server in HL sometime ago and when the next map loaded a player typed in chat that for us blue team member's to use the void skins for our planes because the Yak cannons had no effect on them when these skins are chosen. I hadn't heard or read anything about this before and so I was quite surprised by this. Does anyone else know wether this is true or not and/or has been fixed?

Ah yes the top secret Kugel Beweis #1472 aircraft paint developed late in the war to combat the new and improved Yak models. These were seen on rare occations and during field trials on the eastern front August 1943 - January 1944. Many Russian aces abandond their Yak fighters as useless and cried out for a P39 or a La. Unfortunately the high quantities of titanium used made the paint a highly reflective white colour which ultimately proved its downfall. Hitler had declared that white on an aircraft made them look sisy like the Amercan planes. He also decalared that due to the superiority of the German engineering bullet proof paint was unnecessary and that fancy paint schemes and bigger guns were all that was needed to win the war.

Did they tell you about the Ctrl-E cheat? If you use this cheat when you are on the runway before takeoff, no one can shoot you down!!

Russian aircraft require skill to fly.
German aircraft require ten times that skill, and one hundred times the patience!

They probably just don't want the stutters involved in custom skins.

Funny you should say that.. Just the other day I said "Hit Ctrl E to see enemy positions (New FB Cheat!!)" on GreaterGreen.

Seconds later... So-in-so bails from his plane.. so-in-soB bails.. In all I think 3 guys bailed... LOL.

So, question I have is.. are those people willing to cheat to win? LOL...

I first saw the "Ctrl-E" cheat way back in Air Warrior days. Someone posted that it was an auto-ammo-reload cheat, and 10 or 15 of us (yeah, me too) found out how our parachutes worked. Nice to see people are still falling for it.

My first experience of the "Ctrl-E" cheat was in EAW. It only takes once and you never do that again.
