I'm just wondering if its worth waiting for the PC version or getting the PS3 version. I have a very powerful computer so I can definitely run this game maxed out. The PS3 did have trouble running AC3 smoothly, so I'm wondering if its worth the money.

Assassin's Creed on PS3 gonna have graphics that are not equal to next-gen.
However on PC you will get equal or even more to the next-gen graphics.

Edit : Then I would suggest PC. I may add that you can easily use one of your PS3 controller on PC, the same as I do with a simple XBOX 360 controller I bought with an XBOX 360.

Umm... I would probably go with PC even though I played on PS3.

My PS3 personally had no trouble running the game and it looked beautiful, but if you are heavy into graphics where something has to look real for you to enjoy it, then I suppose PC. If you're not then either way really!

PS3 because you get an additional hour of gameplay!

yeah, if you're into visuals, then Pc is the way to go. I prefer the ps3 because imo, i think using the ps3 controller is better than using a keyboard and mouse for an AC game on a pc. But if you get a game pad that problem can be easily fixed.

you can also use the PS3 pad on PC, with some software you can download ;)

Yep, that was my thought too, PC rules all in terms of graphics. I'm gonna wait and get the PC version because I get better graphics and don't have to risk spending my birthday gift on a game that might lag like crazy. I'm thinking of buying a wired 360 controller to use with AC. Then I won't need to use the terrible controls for that game on PC.

All I hope is that the port isn't bad like some people were saying about AC3's port. I didn't notice anything wrong with the PC except that my CPU was bottle necking my 7970 resulting in the game barely keeping in the 30's.

Yep, that's what I'm doing. I would use my PS3 controller, but I had bad experience with MotionInJoy (the analog sticks didn't do anything.)

WhenI tried playing the game on PS3 the game froze really bad and then the trees turned pixelated, no joke.
