Dear Oleg
First let me express my graditude and admiration for this incredable sim.
I know it started as an eastern front sim, but with the addition of the Zero and pacific maps you have teased me and set in motion a great longing in me.
I now dream of a day when I can take off from a carrier in Zero or a Hellcat, attack enemy carriers and return to land on a carrier.
Is there a possability that sometime in the future this may be possable. PLEASE.

Luthier had better take a look at the aircraft's landing gear DM along the way. I don't think it will put up with the punishment of a carrier landing as it is ritgh now in FB.

I think you are wrong. Probably you will see wit this item such things that you never seen in other sims http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif Just wait for the October.

Oleg -
Thank-you for creating this fantastic sim.
The detail is unbeleivable. Your hint at something new in October is really great.

I enjoy reading your posts as well - and the fact that you take time to read and respond shows that you care about your community.
Thanks again sir.

Oh, October? Maybe I'm not following the forums enough, but I didn't know the date before. I look forward to this Pacific sim.

The word also has it that it'll take a good deal of re-programming to make carrier landings possible. As it is now the airbase system is strictly bound to the map, and it's not easy to allow a collision between two non-static models.
Have patience, it'll be here before you know it.

This is not the real thing...but as close I can make it. Click to enlarge and imagine what the real carries would look like...

We will have fun with our own Pacific-campaign in the meantime http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-happy.gif

I just finish reading the book "Samurai" by Saburo Sakai. He was one of the leading Japanese Ace in WW2. This was one of the best WW2 have ever read. So seeing that we may go to the Pacific in October is indeed an excellent news http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_eek.gif http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/11.gif

Hmmm Dear Oleg....

I posted a message about the Carriers a few months ago.. and you told me that it would be impossible on this sim.. since the carrier would be like moving airfields and that the engine could not support this.

You told me to wait for BoB, so maybe i could see carriers in it. Have you found a way to make the carriers availlable in FB or they will only be static objects so it doesn't crap the game engine out ?

Well i'm glad to hear it if you found a way. And by the way.. Thanks for hard work on AEP.. don't forget the 3rd party modelers too http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

Thx everyone !!
