View Full Version : P-63 offline damage test.

Does the P-63 take any damage other than an engine fire? I conducted a number of tests offline (not exhaustive, but I shot down about a dozen of them) The whole time, I did not see one bit of real structural damage. Not one single flap, elavator, rudder, wing, etc came off these planes. The slightest hit (just about anywhere) and the engine will start smoking though. With a heavy burst of fire, the P-63 will trail LOTS of thick black smoke and every kill that I recorded was due to the plane catching fire and crashing. So, what's the story? Has anyone shot one of these down by causing catastropic structural failure rather and engine damage followed by fire?

Gee Farkitt, thanks for the constructive comments. I ask a serious question and you start with the passive insults. Why? I have never exchanged a word with you friendly or otherwise... ever. So, what seems to be your problem? Grow up! By the way, if you find a previous post of my complaining about this game, let me know. I'd like to read it too!

It was just a joke albert, I havn't ever really flown against the P-63 to make comment.

I am sincerely sorry that I offended you. But if thats all it takes to agitate you, perhaps you are asking the wrong person to grow up.

Happy Hunting.

Actually, I think I should be the one apologizing. Shortly after hitting send, I thought that I had probably overreacted. I have followed these boards for a long time but very rarely post anything. The other day I posted some comment, and was promptly told to shut up and keep my opinions to myself because I haven't been "a member of the community" for a long time and my opinion was therefore not worth considering. You of course, had nothing to do with that conversation and do not deserve to be treated rudely, on account of my own readiness to take offense.

In that regard, you are correct, and I should follow my own advice. I'm going to go eat some crow now...It's lunchtime anyway.

Mate, Were all Guilty of Over reacting some times.

I'll take no dim view on you if your willing to give me the same courtesy. As for people who don't listen to ppls views, Pfft to them!

Twice I have seen the tail section of this aircraft taken off with A-8 or A-9 with Mk-108 wing cannons. The plane seems to fold in half when you hit it in the right spot. Keep trying!!!

A couple of times flying a 'Cobra online I had one of the elevators shot away and had a terrible time with pitch control afterwards. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-sad.gif

Hope this helps. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-happy.gif
