The internet can be a vast, cold, unwelcoming place. We know. We’ve been there.
And yet here we are, launching a brand-new blog, at a time when information has a tendency to overload. This is an era when don’t just consume content – we risk being consumed by it.

http://blog.ubi.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/Blog-Welcome.jpg (http://blog.ubi.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/Blog-Welcome.jpg)

But here’s our hope: The UbiBlog will be a warm place, a happy place. A place where our mutual love of games shines through in every single post. Because at Ubisoft, we have a straightforward – and, quite frankly, magical – mission: “to enrich players’ lives by creating original and memorable gaming experiences.” That means not just developing amazing games. That also means talking about those games – both before they come out and after.

BE SURE TO MAKE YOUR VOICE HEARD. BECAUSE THIS IS YOUR BLOG, TOO.
But why now? Our answer is simple: Why not now? As we begin this new console generation, as we stand strong (while remaining ever-flexible) in the face of seismic shifts in the gaming landscape, we want to be there to chronicle it all, to share our love of gaming with you, to be a source and a resource – and to just offer a place to hang out and interact with the content you adore.

2013 is going to be another phenomenal year for Ubisoft, with Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag (http://blog.ubi.com/category/assassins-creed/), Watch Dogs (http://blog.ubi.com/category/watch_dogs/), Splinter Cell Blacklist (http://blog.ubi.com/category/tom-clancys/) and other triple-A games that we’ll be revealing soon enough. We’ll have an abundance of original and exclusive postings on all these games, while introducing you to our tremendous lineup of digital, mobile and free-to-play releases. We’ll dig deep to offer new insights, and we’ll throw back the curtain to give you an inside look straight from the development teams. We’ve also got a spectacular slate of columnists, both from within and outside of Ubisoft. We’ll share our voices with you, and we’ll interact with you on every story.

That’s a promise.

We’ve placed a doormat outside, the kind that says “Welcome” and, perhaps, has a picture of a smiling sun on it. So wipe your virtual feet and c’mon in. Take a break, kick back, and catch up with all the latest from Ubisoft. We’ll be here, with new content for you every day.
And don’t forget: comments are appreciated, and the discussion should be lively. Be sure to make your voice heard. Because this is your blog, too.
Welcome, friends, to the UbiBlog.

Don't use words which others may find derogatory then - the forums have rules, so please follow them.

An edit is better than an infraction, which is the other method.

plenty of other words to use, rather than slang terms others may find offensive, we are all adults, so I'm sure you could have used another one.
