Has anyone had any issues with an un-commanded roll to the right without any stick input. If so were you able to correct it? If so, how did you correct it?

Thanks!

Salute!

How fast is this roll? (ie...is it rudder trim?)

Alot of time I am rudder trimmed but I still get a good roll going with no stick input, until my attention returns to my foot and its pressing down on the pedal and I didn't even know it, probably cos I never asked. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/35.gif

If it is a slow constant roll, you may just be experiencing the effects of the engine torque and yawing tendencies caused by the propeller.

Nope she almost snaps...doesn't matter whick plane either. I use a twist grip stick..so rudder pedals not a factor.

Sounds like a stick issue to me... Or you need to tweak the sensetivity. I have the same thing except my snaps to the left. Its so bad if im not careful when pulling up for a loop ill end up in a snap roll. Ive tried tweaking the sensetivity settings but it only helps marginally. My conclusion is that its simply worn out http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-sad.gif Is there anytwist-rudder stick that has a lifespan of more than a few months???

Edit: and yes its a Logi TOAD, how did you guess? http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-tongue.gif http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/cry.gif

I've owned 6 of them http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/51.gif Got a x-45 its 2 years old now and still running. You can clean the pots with electrical cleaner once maybe twice. Then you might aswell get a new one. Or find a Pot than fit in there of better quality. But I doubt you can, its pretty tight in there.

I bought my Saitek Cyborg in May 2003 and it still works very well, so yes, there are twist-rudder sticks that last more than a few months.

Does that new Cyborg stick have twist rudder too? I might get that. This is now my fourth Logitech wingman extreme digital 3d (who the hell comes up with these names?) in a single year and I'm gettign tired of it.

Afaik all Saitek Cyborg and Evo sticks operate the rudder by twisting.

Look them up on their website: http://www.saitek.com/

Here are the sticks: http://www.saitek.com/uk/prod/joysticks.htm

I have a Cyborg Gold USB and I LOVE it: I cannot believe it was even cheap to buy!!!

By the way, see what others say about Saitek sticks in this post: http://forums.ubi.com/eve/forums?a=tpc&s=400102&f=23110283&m=118109464
