View Full Version : Account temporarily banned for entering "invalid" code repeatedly

I had/have the start up crash bug, bought client from Steam.

Entered the code first time, was successful, yet the game does not show up under my Uplay account.

I tried to access the game through my uplay account exclusively in an effort to avoid the crash, but then it didn't recognize the code and after a few tries it "temporarily" banned my account.

I've already requested a refund from Steam, since that is where I purchased it, but I think this should really be brought to Ubisofts attention, since you require Uplay to register and play the game, i.e. it's Ubisofts responsibility to get their side working properly.

This is definitely not AAA in any shape or form and will make me think twice about anything ever requiring Uplay (basically anything from Ubisoft).

If you contact Support, (http://www.ubi.com/us/support/) they should be able to assist you with this.
