View Full Version : Have you ever done a school project on Assassin's Creed?

I just finished a 12 page essay on Assassin's Creed 3's use of Mohawk consultants for a Native American studies class yesterday. Has anyone else written a paper, done a presentation, or made a video for school (high school or college) about AC? Feel free to tell about your work, and if you can, share it!

Not exactly high school/college, but for VFS Game Design program I wrote a paper on how the Hero's Journey paradigm is applied to AC2 (and Ezio's Journey) for Storytelling class (https://drivehq.com/file/DFPublishFile.aspx/FileID1329907130/Keyrpcclseg68ro/GD20StasCostiuc_Storytelling_a1.docx), and made a fan-trailer for Machinima/Cut-scenes class. I did for part of my A level course. It was an interactive guide with videos and Bios of characters from the AC universe and I did this like 5 months ago :)

I wrote an essay for my preliminary examination about my discovery of Assassin's Creed 2 and the locations in the game. I started it by writing about how I laughed at my friend's face and called him gay when I discovered the game cover.

Yes, and I'm really proud of my work!
Just a few months ago, I did a paper for Political Ideologies class about the Assassin - Templar philosophies. I outlined and explained the differing ideologies, moralities, and beliefs between the two factions. I even managed to make use of a thread in these forums to learn ideas from other people and what they think (http://forums.ubi.com/showthread.php/759187-The-Templar-s-Philisophy-Vs-The-Assassin-s?) It's a quite fulfilling work for me, knowing that a videogame close to my heart could actually be in line with the requirements in my studies.

Best part of that is I got an A in the paper, and an A in the course itself! :D
