This is not terribly important, but something that would make my (at least) life much easier http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif Currently, switching the HUD off results in a complete loss of all incoming information that appears on the screen (besides radio chatter, of course). Unfortunately, that also includes information that has absolutely nothing to do with controlling the plane, namely time acceleration/deceleration. I always fly the whole way on manual with no acceleration, but I tend to rerun tracks of all my missions right after I am done with them, and the fact that I can't tell what time mode I am in can be somewhat frustrating. It's not a big deal, since I can always switch back to normal mode and alter it, but it wouldn't hurt to have the time modes on the screen with the HUD off.

To add to that, another item that shouldn't disappear is engine selection. Making engine selection messages disappear can really hurt in multi-engine aircraft, and since selecting/deselecting engines is not related to any actual manipulations with the planes' control system, I do not think they should disappear any more than the time mode selection messages. Just a minor suggestion http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Engine controls are part of aircraft control. Worse, you can trim nose up or down or do multi~engine yaw with throttle. You might could use engine guages to know which engine is starting up or stopping down.

Would be Nice to have some brutal roll authority with throttle. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

I am not talking about actual engine controls. Engine selection/deselection doesn't have anything to do with physical levers and buttons present in the simulated aircraft.
