View Full Version : [PC] Uplay "game information is loading..."

Edit: It appears to be working again. Will we ever found out what happen? Who knows!.

Iv been playing Far Cry 3 the past couple of days just fine, but today im stuck in a loop with Uplay and "game information is loading".

Are there some sort of maintenance going on atm, if not is there a fix for it?.

p.s got this via steam, and im on win7.

Likewise, game started up just fine yesterday and the day before, but today when I launched from Steam, Uplay launches and just stays on a screen saying "Game information is loading ..." - no progress after 10 minutes, twice. Would be great if I could choose to directly launch the game from Steam rather than go through two loaders. Don't really need two overlays :P

Same problem here, yet another day and another problem preventing me from playing far cry 3, finally i could play co op after so long, now this? You gotta be kidding me....

Agree with you in the fact I wish I could launch directly from Uplay without going through steam, but the problem still exists that it is the game that is not working properly (FarCry3), so no matter how one connects, it still is the same issue..

The date on that article is one month ago, and it says that all services apart from download are still available, but I'm not trying to download anything. Don't think that's it.

My uplay account is bugged in two different computers on one it appears as Joncorgur and the other one as Biocamp, so farcry doesnt appear in My Games tab I dont know why this is happening, I've tried to contact support several times and still havent got an answer. I even got the message that uplay failed to sync my games.
I cant play farcry 3 anymore =/.
Help please.

Why won't you just work on an update to prevent this bug from happening? Its one of the most common bugs in the games and you just tell us to contact support and wait for 3 days but it will still not work for some reason after we contacted support... Just work on an update that will prevent that bug from happening and I believe that we will not see this bug again. The community will be happy and you will be happy.

So i just bought farcry 3 via steam on widows 7. I started it via steam, joind to my uplay account and... game information is loading. i restarted the computer, and the sam problem. i went outside and left it "loading". 5 hours later i came back and it was still on. I PAID FOR IT AND I WONT TO PLAY IT. ITS HARD TO GET MONEY WHEN YOU ARE 16. PLEASE FIX THE PROBLEM OR GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK!!!

Its has been now a year look at the dates it has not been fixed I have bought this on steam and uplay launcher thing, after spending money on this game i want to play it! please replay to this message asap because you are scamming people who have bought the game and hasnt pirated it SO FIX IT! Are you unable to log into Uplay, or is the issue with launching Far Cry 3? If this is the first time you've used Uplay on this computer and your issue is with logging into Uplay, it may be that you have an older version of Uplay installed.
