Please, put a HUGE SPOILER ALERT in the title of the thread.

HUGE SPOILER FOLLOWS
Everything Connor had experienced during the 3 episodes of the Tyranny of King Washington was an alternate reality, a fantasy created by the Apple Washington possesed. The creation of that reality started when Connor touched the Apple Washington had showed him and ended the exact moment he touched it in that parallel dimension. The vision, witnessed and lived by both Washington and Connor, was a representation of what might have happened to America, should Washington had tried to bring monarchy in the US. When the vision ended, both Connor and Washington were ready to attack each other. But soon they realised that all the things they had lived was just a fantasy, a dream somehow fabricated by the power of the Apple. Washington, crazed and exhausted by the visions and dreams he was given by the Apple asks Connor to keep the Apple and "sink it into the ocean".
Afterwards, we get to see two scenes taking place:
On one hand, Connor goes out in the ocean and sinks the Apple.
On the other hand (which is the most interesting), Washington has a vision of a man being in his office (some sort of bleeding effect? was it from The Ones Who Came Before? was the Apple's vision a mere glimpse in how the future might have been?). The man asks Washington to catalyze the democracy and grab the reigns of the country as king. Washington then sharply denies that suggestion and the man (vision?) disappears into thin air...
