I played IL2 when it first came out. I recently got 1946 and want to have fun again.

I have an X52 system. However, Saitek has the driver and the manual for only the X52 Pro, NOT the X52. Can I use the software for the Pro? Or, is the X52 no longer supported by Saitek?

It appears the X52 is still being offered for sale, so I'd suspect the Pro drivers will suit. I would recommend that you ask at Saitek's own forums though to make sure: http://www.saitekforum.com/

If you can't get drivers, contact me and I'll send you a copy of the latest ones I have for the X52. It'll have to be by torrent, the total for driver, SST programming software and manual is over 200MB.

The Saitek forum no longer allows new users to register. I'll try the X52 Pro driver and see what happens (I'm running Vista 32 bit).

The version I have would be no use then anyway, mine are for 64 bit :(

Mine are 64 bit also. Try the Mad Catz forum. They sell the X 52 now.
