S~ all,

The new CO of TX Squadron will be TX-Rahman, I have decided to relinquish my role as CO after 2+ years in the saddle.

TX-Deck, TX-Rahman and I started the squad together. We were in Tribes 2 before that and TX stretches back even into Team Fortress Classic days, though we had no CO as such back then. I'm quite proud of the things TX has achieved in FB and quite proud and honored with the friendships I have made as well, it has been my pleasure leading the fine members of TX in the various adventures we have had in the last few years.

It's been a great ride but it's about time to move on and so as they say, that is that.

My new UBI nick will be Zen--

Still the same Zen, same guy, same view points and I'll still be in the D9, but will no longer be affiliated with a squad...going to try my hand at the solo pilot gig and see what thats like.

If anyone knows a way to keep my 700 odd post count, lemme know.

On second thought, my Zen ways tell me that it is not relevant to enlightenment anyhow, so nevermind.

Do you still plan to fly every few days Zen? Or just done with the squadron stuff for now. I would like to know we're loosing alot of the people who contribute alot to the community for free and it seems the ones who do are moving to these payware map and mis packs which is such ashame.

Still flying, just done with CO-ing and squadron stuff. The TX server will stay up, even though I host it myself I see no reason to take it down...it's something we're very proud of and it's for the community.

I'll still make missions which has become something I really enjoy, though I won't be spending as much time on FB as a whole...I found out the other day I have a girlfriend, imagine that. I always thought I heard some female voice in my house, but thought that was just some kick arse sound effects from 1C http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

The TX-OC3 server will remain free...no plans on going requesting donations. I support servers that do request them still, I just happen to be in a fortunate spot where I don't need to.

So yes, I'll be around, just flying without the TX tag.

(I'd be looking good in that bad arse D9 skin I asked you about btw, hint hint http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif )

S~ all, thanks for the good comments...kinda makes a man feel appreciated http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

TX is an outstanding squadron and remains so. It is composed of the best group of online friends I have ever been associated with in any game and my time with them has not been ill spent.

I will look back with fondness on the memories that I have of the squad and all the wacky characters we have in it. They are simply amazing.

Ice and Eagle, I will be looking for you guys online, I've had a great time flying with both of you. Thanks for your comments too.

Bomblast, it was my pleasure to fly with you and I will look for you online here and there to do some winging. You are a good member of TX and I think you'll be a fine leader there, you have the skills that section leaders need.

S~~ all, thanks again for the kind words.
