We are going to the Caribbean ! I'm super hyped for this setting, so I thought I would post a bunch of random pics to get into the mood. Autumn in Sweden is a drag and an AC game set in paradise will sure lighten things up! Look at the pics below and tell me why this isn't going to be awesome :D! Please add more pics if you like!

I'm going for the $60 budget alternative ;). Seriously I really want to visit Cuba, Jamaica etc some day.

That makes me wonder.. Does the multiplayer map Saint Pierre consist of buildings, textures and props from ACIV? It's set in the Caribbean, after all..

60!? whaaaa.... Where can I find one!? I live in Europe though...

Also, after watching those buildings I can see how... climbable they all look... :)

I'm calling it right now. This setting right here MAY turn out to be the most beautiful AC setting. (keyword: may) It has everything. Bustling cities, beautiful shores, forests, hidden islands :D, PIRATES!!!!

Glad to see I'm not the only one who sees AC that way. I've made up mmy mind to someday visit the AC locations, but Ubisoft is trying their hard to make that list longer and longer :(

Yeah I think that is a reasnobale assumption. Also the Caribbean vistas in the naval parts may be something that is part of AC4. And I mean why shouldn''t they? No need to reinvent the wheel just because. That pic is real beauthiful btw :D! Never played the mulptiplayer, guess I have to just to check some of the maps.

Yeah I think this setting will deliver some absolutely incredible vistas! And I have always liked Pirates. Read Treasure Island and watched Captain Blood as a kid and never looked back. I'm sure AC will go east some day. India sure is an exciting and unexpolited setting, which is the kind of stuff Ubi is looking for. I have visited pretty much all the Italian citys in AC2-B and they are amazing. If you ever go to Europe I certainly recomend Italy. Plus the food is awesome!

Yeah it's hard to find, those Scottish people keep spamming the interwebz! Anyway I think this is it, but a fairly bad shot.

My uncle owns one that has been in our family for quite some time (my great-uncle bought it back then when they were legal i think and they get quite old), they are absolutely awesome. They will actually sit on your shoulder if they like you and they can indeed talk. On the other hand, they will try to bite off your finger (and believe, me they can) if they don't like you.. and my uncle's parrot doesn't like any women unless they're blonde :D

I would love it if we could have a secret location based on Castillo de San Felipe from here in Guatemala

http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/f/f4/Castillo_de_San_Felipe_de_Lara_in_Guatemala_06.jpg

This fort was built to defend the area from pirates, and time and again British pirates went and made a mess of it all the way until the 18th century. Over and over. So yeah, it'd be great if they made something related to that.

Good point. I haven't thought of that before. I mean it would be logical to port them in some way (if it's possible). When they made AC2 they used the same vegetation from Far Cry 2 (or so they said).

Then there is a historical reason to respawn the fort for multiple playthroughs. Ubi should def do something about that!

Pirate game set in the Caribbean pretty much has to have sharks. And if you have sharks you need to be able to swim down and stealth kill them with the hidden blade. I would be shocked if they didn't announce underwater swimming on monday. Besides didn't Liberation have that?

No idea, but pirate setting goes pretty much hand-in-hand with underwater gameplay.

Havana was founded in 1515, 95 years before New York and 115 before Boston. Nassau was founded in 1666, Kingston in 1692. The thing with Kingston is that it was built after the destruction of Port Royal and everyone was forced to move, so it grew pretty quickly and became the biggest city in Jamaica by 1716.

Heh. Time to learn up Caribbean history! Before AC2 I knew zilch about Renaissance Italy, the game inspired me to learn about it. Seems like the same now :D

Good, one of my biggest worries is the lack of parkour environments. But at least there'll be something.

Yeah, the buildings have much more of a spanish/portugese or even french influence. which imo is much nicer than the Ac3 cities.

Considering that 4 out of my top 5 favorites cities are ports -Constantinople, Venice, New York and Acre- I am really interested to see what AC4 has to offer in regards to that. La habana was a great location back then, with more population than NY and Boston combined....
