I love playing my FB even though I really suck at dogfights. I like realism but I am more interested in the little things with ACE like ground objects, people, animations...any cool little details. I want to get it but maybe it's not for me if I am only going to use the Hurricane and the P-38 (cool). I only play the single player mode so I want to see the environment of the game get more detail...like swooping down over a town and see some people run for it. I know it sounds silly but that is what I would want.

It's all because I have a Radeon 9800 Pro now....so I'm gettin greedy!

Great game - CHEERS.

You shouldnt limit yourself to single player.Theres so much more to this sim,ie the pilot careet,fmb(complex-but highly rewarding),quick mission builder etc etc.......thers so much and then theres online.Dont know if you do this yet but if not then give it a go-a different game.Theres so many aspects to this that i never get tired of the possibilities!Keep looking for the details, theres loads of surprises!

I only play offline (e.g. single player). AEP is definitely worth it. Improved graphs (i.e. higher settings are possible without decreasing framerate), new campaigns (Polish, French, etc.), and of course the new planes (including the BF110!!).

...Obviously the 100% accuracy of the planes is what most here seem to want, but do you guys care about that little stuff?...or are questions like this a downer because it's just "extra's"...and people running away from a bombing run is pointless if the plane doen't handle as it should in real life? I don't want to ask silly questions that are out of sorts with the Pro's here.

...when a pilot drifts down in a parachute and then runs....see, I like that. I wish there was more and wondered if the new add-on had some... after seeing some screens I had might as well admit I have to get it.

What's the plane with the two small planes on the wings?...sweet!

CHEERS and Thanks for discussing this!

Ships now smoke and burn. The bigger the boat the more fires can be set onboard. It's pretty cool. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-happy.gif

I to like the small details.

Adds to the whole atmosphere.

The day I can strafe a column of marching troops watching them in a replay go running here and there.

Soldiers flying at all angles as my bullets rip through them.

The circle around and watch them attend to the dead and dying and decide wehter I should fly in for another strafe!

Call me sick......its not real.

Exactly! I'm glad I'm not the only one. I don't think it's sick...it adds to the danger, imagine on the big ships, guys diving overboard!

That would be fun! CHEERS.
