AEP has a new conf.ini water tweak. below is a quote from the AEP readme,

"Additional features for ATI 9500+ andÔ Geforce FX video cards (Shaders 2.0):

We've added the following new userÔ options to the conf.ini file that control the water quality

Water = 0, Fastest water, without ground reflection
Water = 1, Normal water: ground andÔ clouds reflections,Ô cloud shadows
Water = 2, Perfect water: same as Water = 1, plus wavy ground reflections andÔ weather-dependant wave types"

Imo the new "perfect 2" water looks awesome. very realistic. I dont think screen shots would do it justice. Anyone notice it yet?

And the shorelines seem more realistic. I almost think I saw bump mapped shorelines while playing the RAF P-51 vs. V1 single mission.

AEP is packed with so much goodness it's overwhelming.

Oleg and team have an incredible amount of talent.

I changed it around between water=1 and water=2 but didn't notice a difference (I have Radeon 9800Pro). In excellent setting the water looked the same as it did before in excellent setting regardless of number (=1 or =2). In perfect setting the water looked as it did before in perfect setting regardless of number (=1 or =2).

I'm sure I am doing something wrong or didn't notice. Does the adjustment only affect water in perfect setting? Or can you get perfect water (by using water=2) with excellent setting (this didn't work for me)?
