There's no discussion to be had as both teams played well, but I, as a New Englander, am obliged to mark this, the night that we won our second championship in three years.

yeah, they had me worried there for a little bit but Bradey is just unconscious.

Still, Carolina gave 'em hell.

Grrr, I would say Refs were a *****, which they were, but Carolina should never have let that pass go through at the end. They deserved the win, but I guess its a mood point. Brady really shouldn't have gotten the MVP though.

In the end, the Packers were still the best team in the NFL this year, so I am happy as long as the loser Eagles didnt win.

Packers?

Sounds like homer talk to me. Clearly, the Cowboys were the best team in the NFL. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_eek.gif

Ehh, look at the stats, packers clearly had the most depth of any team, unlike the Panthers, they had a solid run with a passing game to go with it. They actually shouldve been in the NFC championship accept for a 4th and 26 that should have never gotten converted(terrbile defensive play calling in sewing up the game) Itdoesnt matter though as somehow the most overrated QB in the NFL pulled one out on them, only to show his true color against the Panthers.

The Cowboys are a team on the rise. Parcells will take them back to the Super Bowl.

Be sure!

Parcells could take any team and bring them back to the superbowl. I was really getting to like the fact that the cowboys were terrible after all these years, why does he have to go screw it up, he should go coach the Lions or some other team that is due for a descent season.

Spoken like a true cheesehead, ibhskier. If Favre hadn't started believing in his own luck, he wouldn't have thrown that interception.

You're right about Parcells, but he must believe that he has some limits, 'cause he turned down a chance to coach my beloved Chargers a couple of years ago.

Trade ya our Number One pick for your O-line, though. LaDainian Tomlinson needs some blockers worthy of his talents.

Cheers

I'm not a Football fan, I'm a Boston hockey fan, but, weren't the Patriots the team with league leading injuries and they still had a 14-2 record, with 15 wind in a row? Any other team play that well with so many injuries and have that many consecutive wins? Sure, a lot of teams a really good and have great depth, but it seems to me if you want to talk about good teamwork, results, and player depth in any position excpet punting, you have to give credit where it's due and recognise the Pats of this year as one of the most deep teams in recent memory, and almost certainly the one wwith the most depth this year. All those injuries, and 15 wins in a row? What was the Packer's record, and how many injuries did they take? I dunno, but I can't imagine it was more than the Pats or that they had 15 wins in a row. 15 wins in a row! that's a d@mn powerful team. The Panthers played so well, it's a shame the Pats practically didn't show up for the game. I think I saw Law going to McDonald's during the 4th quarter http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

I believe this year the Packer's QB held them back a little, don't you think? LOL! I don't think I have ever seen such a high-caliber QB make such a poor decision on that season ending interception.

Congrats to the Pats, btw. And to the Panthers. Great game! And, yeah, Parcells will be bringing the Cowboys back!!

Only missed one game, some of the best Football in the NFL this year. Most games were undesided right to the end. The Rally is Tuesday in Boston.

Whoa whoa whoa, you must not have watched many packer games this season. Favre was the reason they got so far, did you see their last 2 regular season games? The game against the Eagles was won, if it wasnt for a botched coverage, how can you miss a 4th and 26?

I guess if 66% completions to very young recievers, 210 yards and 2 TD per game average would hold a team back you can say that about Favre, and all with a broken right thumbhttp://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

I guess it doesnt matter also that the reciever screwed up his route on that nasty interception against the eagles, but again the game shouldve never gotten that far.
