Lousy!

Thx for the bombs on the IIb, but http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/354.gif with the russian Field mod?? Just open up FB, pick the plane in Objects viewer and read the text. It's all in there:

8 RS-82
2 FAB-100

pick the mkII-b. it has 2 different bomb loadouts. 1 is the fabs, and there's 2x250 pounders. i didnt see that there was a rocket loadout on the hurricane; musta missed it. at least the hurricanes can bomb now instead of lookin down with envy at the jugs and 38's poundin an airbase into oblivion.

I wonder why we don't have a 2x500 loadout or the IIC loadouts?

I don't know what they are, but i do know there are still a few weapon load outs missing.

What poundage is the FAB 250 things? and what are they good for apart from blowing stuff up?

On the IIb in QMB we have 250lb or FAB100 - 100kg - about 220lbs.

Hurribomber http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif !

Lol, finally the Hurri gets some bombs, and some peeps are still not happy. Classy.

However, it is a bit odd that a weapons loadout is specified in the game that ain't available for selection.

I don't understand the interest there is in getting bombs on the Hurricane, I have rarely seen Hurricanes online as they don't seem very popular, they make nice flaming targets though. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/mockface.gif So where are all these Hurri pilots that wanted the Hurri bomber online?

Allow me to hijack the thread a little:

More importantly we need MG 151/20 nose cannons for the Bf 109 G-10 & G-14 these planes are much more common in online games and in restricted planeset servers you are forced to use the MK 108 on late war maps if you want to fly the Bf 109.

The bombs are good if you are playing online or offline historically accurate scenarios or online wars.

"Lol, finally the Hurri gets some bombs, and some peeps are still not happy. Classy."

I am happy that it has bombs, just confused as to why the full range of historical bombs are not available, and why the IIC still has none at all.

exactly , i was always looking forward to the Hurribomber for some 1941/42 NorthernFrance Rodeos ore some DAF groundsupport stuff.

not the whole online world is an open dogfight map with all planes.

well , the IIB had from the beginning its bombracks - the IIC ore Fieldmod not. than the SpitIX introduced UK bombs - so , bring IIB and UK bombs together was the way with a minimum of work i think. better than nothing ! http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

The 2 250lb bombs on the IIb certainly came first. (I just went and had a look in my copy of "Britain's Wonderful Airforce" from 1942, and that mentions the IIc, but indicates only bombs on the IIb). The IIc did later gain bomb racks, though, and the IIb was later rated for 500lb bombs. Rockets too.

Actually, P1 found plans for the Hurri Mk. IId, with the 40mm cannons and rocket rails.
