Havent seen any since I got AEP, but anyway, just started to fly it again. It's such a nice challenge to fly, and at the same time a pleasure.
Good to know my all time favorite bird got it's characteristics intact.

I just picked up a color magazine full of photos and accounts of the P-40. The editorial staff used WAY too many exlamation marks, but I was thinking of doing A6M2 v P-40 missions and I'm hoping for some tactical tips beyond "fight vertically".

I fly the a6m2 zero 21 alot. You will have to be veeeeerrrrrryyy careful. Try to climb with a zero is suicide, turning also will get you killed. Slashing attacks from altitude is the only thing that may work....

The Zero is a flaming pile of toothpicks. I wish all the enemy planes were that easy to kill.

That is so true, BuzzU.

My plane of choice for killing Zeros is the P47. They don't stand a chance.

That was the historic tactic. Dive down on them and hammer them with a good burst. Don't turn, just dive past and use your speed to stay out of reach. Climb and reacquire. If you have numerical superiority, you can use team tacitcs, but it is still very dangerous to let them catch you.
