Hello everyone, I was really disappointed by Desmond's story in AC3 and I think we didn't have enough Desmond in the game so I had this new idea (I don't think Ubisoft will do that) .

I know lot of people don't like playing with Desmond but there is also a bunch of people who want to play more with him, so here is my idea:

Maybe we could add an option on Desmond's computer that allow us to check a "Map of the present", where Desmond can chose contracts, chase some templars and play some fun missions

This is Desmond's computer

On this map you can chose what kind of missions/contrats you want and who you want to chase
The homestead icon represents the Temple localisatio, I tried to put it in the right place

This is an exemple of a mission, where you need to attack some Abstergo guards who are near the temple

Another exemple where you must chase Daniel Cross

And finally you get a dialog with him

And a last exemple, in this mission you need to find Rikkin, the CEO we saw in AC1

What do you think ? :)

The problem is Desmond was in a hurry to save the world. It would make more sense to send other available agents (like Shaun and Rebecca) to handle conflicts in the modern world so Desmond could search through his ancestor's memories and look for a way to save the world.

For Desmond this is no longer an option, but it would be cool for a new modern protagonist maybe.

Desmond raised a good point though. Why doesn't William enter the animus? And even if he didn't, Desmond could finish all the memories really fast. It wouldn't have taken more than a week. He did all of the other ancestors in a generally comparable time.(not a week, around two months, he did the other stuff in two months.) It was enough, and he did that with breaks, but Desmond in AC3 could go for much longer. There were less sequences. He would have finished the memories in a few days because I can finish the game entirely in less than three days' time, so he could to if he went non stop, an he actually did go nonstop for three days if I'm not mistaken. He could then go on missions.

That last picture should have been how Desmond infiltrated Abstergo. OH NO, Let's make him go through the front door.

Something to do with Desmond having higher concs of first Civ DNA probably. Also he is adapted to the Animus = Longer time he can spend it there + Not suffer from bleeding effect that destroyed Clay. Its just more productive.

HEY, let's throw 4 guards at him when he walks in. YEAH, you heard me 4! even if he gets past them he'll never be able to reach us...through the elevator?
