Well, we got 4 Nickleback threads going now.

That should be plenty to appease the peoples.

For a band that everybody supposedly hates they sure are popular!

It's up on Steam.

I picked Bottom's Up and ran it a few times. It's a really fun song to play ! I don't think I'll get the two others tho.

I'm thinking the same thing.

Just had a quick go and they are pretty easy to play, nowhere near as complicated as others and fun.

I'm disappointed that "Burn it to the ground" wasn't included. I was really looking forward to that one. I'll probably pick up Rockstar & "How you remind me" though.

I was Dissapointed too. I bought the pack but I would have liked "Burn it to the ground". I think tuning had to do with the selection made. They use some weird tunings.

Yeah, I am pretty sure I would have bought burn it to the ground. Then I could have copied Wrathchild's sig too.

Bought the 3 pack. Hope the kid goes to bed early enough that I get to ply a little tonight. Guess I'll break out the ESP Viper tonight. Seems kind of stupid to use a Strat when all you're doing is banging out toneless power chords ;) LOL

its available now in the Playstation Store.

I bought Rockstar just cause that's the only Nickelback song I like, pretty easy too except for the chorus part of the combo arrangement, that itself threw me for a loop.

It's only the "I'm so cool" people that think they are proving how awesome they are by putting down others. I think most people realize how lame that kind of behavior is.

As for the pack I'm not a huge fan but may consider it one day if I ever make through all the other songs I haven't played fully yet.

LOL, so you don't have anything against Nickelback, but you'd rather play every other song over any of their songs :p

Basically its an issue of lack free time and lack of skill. I could probably spend several months just trying to perfect the Rush pack on guitar and bass alone. I'm not good enough to just pick up new songs without a bit of effort. I've got a bunch of other dlc I've never gotten to. Until I can get through those I probably won't buy anything more unless its a big favorite or something really different that would be good for learning a new style or technique. I've heard two of the Nickleback songs and they're fine but pretty much typical rock stuff which I already have.

For a group of supposed talentless hacks, that solo doesn't seem so easy. I'm not sure about the other songs but I'll wind up buying this one at least.

I bought the pack, haven't played Bottoms Up yet, as that will be the most difficult, and perhaps the most fun, out of the 3 because of the solo. The other 2 songs don't have solos, so they're easy to max-level and play right away, which is a nice change of pace. I've liked a few Nickleback songs over the years, but would'nt really consider myself a huge fan, but the bottom line is I'm just looking for fun songs to play and learn with, and these songs will work.

Can't play much right now (Cortisone shot #2) but I am planning on playing How You Remind Me as it's the only song in the pack I like (even if Bottom's Up looks more challenging, and has a good guitar part, I kinda hate the lyrics).

I don't hate the band as much as some, but the forums have been very /popcorn-y since the announcement :P

There's much more to art than just technical skill.

So is the general consensus that these are (fairly) easy songs (maybe with the exception of a solo)? I really have a enough DLC to work on but easy songs are always fun for more casual play and boosts the self confidence... :)

From the vids it seems it's mostly pretty straightforward outside of the solo and whatever that is after the solo in Burn it Up.

Absolutely. Bottoms Up is a little more challenging and has some nice drop D riffs. You can easily get 80K on the first playthrough of the other songs, but my first play of Bottoms Up was under 50 (well, in my defense, I also had never heard that song before :o).

Strange, it plays fine for me.

As for the pack, I'm not a fan of Nickelback, but I may buy How You Remind Me for the nostalgia. There are a bunch of songs I plan on downloading beforehand, though.
