Currently I'm at sequence 9. My problems are:

1) I unlocked all viewpoints but somehow there are still areas that is not higlighted. My case is new york north for example. Most of the north region are still blurred even after i synced the viewpoint. Is this a bug or is the map designed to be like that?
2) I finished ALL liberation mission but somehow some region still under disputed with 50% and 80% templar control. Also, there is a liberation contract icon on green dragon tavern but when i go inside there is no one to interact even though the icon there. So far I only managed to recruit stephane, the marksman and the bald guy who provide cover escort.

Any help is appreciated

I honestly can't tell if it's a bug or if Ubi did this on purpose to make people explore a little more (since everyone seems to be having this issue), but if you go to the areas that are blurred and run around then they should start to fill in.
If you still have regions that are disputed then you have not finished all the missions--you probably don't have the missions that are in the blurry sections. You can tell what you're missing by going to the logbook and scrolling down to the liberation missions part.

Hope that helps!

Will try that. Thanks!

It's confusing because you can't get a reminder from your area contact - each one will only speak to you once to tell you what to do.

In New York, the most difficult requirements are in the area destroyed by the Great Fire. If that's your disputed area, you need to find and kill three rabid dogs. They're not on the map, so you'll need to listen for unusual shouting. There are also three sick people lying on the ground in hidden areas - you need to find them and bring them back to the doctor. With all that done, you can then recruit the area's contact, after completing his mission.

In NY North, there's a woman who is your contact. You have to help three groups of kids to get food from the stalls, and you'll need to go around all the houses to eliminate the tax collectors who are calling on families.

I still have a Liberation Contract symbol in Boston at a Tavern (Seq 9 after liberating all of Boston and now NY) & there's noone to talk to there.
In Eagle Vision, a lady by some game tables is lit up blue but no interaction is possible w/ her so I don't know what to do there either. At least I got all my recruits, I'm figuring it's a glitch.

All of NY Liberated when I finished all the missions & the Liberation contract missions were AWESOME - esp. the one on the ship :D Boson was my only problem w/ symbols & the map.

& I'm noticing that the Recruits I send out get injured alot more easily than previous games.

It might be a glitch or it might not. I didn't realise until I picked up my last recruit that I still had a space in my recruit team, so I had to go back to North Boston to find all the thugs and release their prisoners.

Does every district of Boston say "liberated"? If so you're fine. There are three contacts in Boston's taverns - one you get as part of the story, another is a marksman (south), and the north one is a bodyguard.
