Hey everyone, I'm having a weird and immersion-breaking graphical error on Assassin's Creed 3. It seems that the ambient occlusion or something is causing weird shadows and ghosting effects, seen in this clip here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B9_oGWgfCew

I'm running the game at max settings, with the following specs:

i5-2500k @ 4.6ghz
GTX 670 FTW 2GB
8gb 1600mhz RAM

Any help would be awesome, as I just cannot bring myself to play the game in this condition.

try this driver for your GTX 670 2GB card :
http://www.nvidia.com/object/win8-win7-winvista-64bit-310.64-beta-driver.html

this driver for win 7 and 8 64bit ... if you have 32bit win than select this link instead :
http://www.nvidia.com/object/win8-win7-winvista-32bit-310.64-beta-driver.html

i hope this will help you fix this problem .. keep me posted

Unfortunately I already have the 310.64 beta drivers installed, and the bug continues. I've messed with the graphical settings and no matter what, the ghosting/shadow bug continues. This also causes all of the trees and grass in Boston to ghost, as they have this same occlusion issue.

Have you tried switching off Anti-Aliasing? If you are still having issues please make sure you contact Ubisoft Support. http://support.ubisoft.com/

Unfortunately changing the graphical settings does nothing for this problem. My character still exhibits this weird ghosting effect, and the way objects interact when close to each other (ambient occlusion) acts weird. I submitted a question to the Support Page, but I have yet to hear back. Sad face
